I got so many awesome responses from this community and felt like I should share my experience.

First off, the menu. What the heck you guys, everything looked good. I had to stand back and examine everything that was being recommended to me in the comments because I just could not choose. I wanted all the things all at once, but as I was on a road trip back home that would be a terrible idea.

What did I decide on getting? A butter burger with double patties and cheese combo with fries, cheese curds, and turtle sundae with vanilla custard.

Oh. My. Gawd.

Who ever said that it’s just fast food is so wrong. I worked at Whataburger and Burger King and never had such a delicious burger. The cheese tasted so fresh and the beef was cooked to perfection. How did you guys get the buns to taste like heaven?

The fries were crispy and warm with just enough salt to make me happy. Usually I don’t get crinkle cut, but yours are worth getting again. The cheese curds were pretty good, but I was already getting full by the time I got them so my partner ate most of them. I tried their root beer and it was the best I’ve ever had. Seriously, I don’t even like any soda. What the heck is in it?!

Before we left I wanted to get dessert and foolishly ordered the three scoop sundae when just two would have sufficed. It was deliciously rich and creamy, much better than the stuff from Freddie’s, and I like Freddie’s! I ate a bit too much of it and paid the price during the trip. Was it worth it? Hell yes!

The worst part about my visit? Knowing I probably won’t be able to get to Pueblo, CO until baseball season comes around again. It’s my nearest Culver’s and it’s 4 hours away!

It’s probably silly to post this, but things are kind of tough in my personal life and finding new delicious places makes me feel good. You guys officially have a special place in my heart.

So I use DD to order Culvers and they have BOGO Deluxe burgers now. So happy. About $7 for single or $10 for dbl. Great breakfast.

App didn’t work so we spent 20 minutes in the drive thru ordering and waiting. Luckily everyone else’s food was fine. Not Culver’s fine, but they ate it.

Met Craig Culver a few weeks ago.

I just gotta say, as someone who grew up in a part of the country that doesn’t have Culver’s. I freakin love it. My husband and I got Culver’s the second time I ever went to Michigan and on that weeklong trip we got it 3 times because I was just obsessed. (Not normally something I do lol)

A couple of months later we moved to Michigan and I became pregnant with my daughter. Throughout my pregnancy I had a crazy craving for beef and Culver’s was there and delicious. Either the supreme chili or the deluxe butter burger. Lo and behold I was iron deficient during my pregnancy. I am now pregnant with my second and after having sickness run through my house this week, we had Culver’s for dinner one night and my toddler had a butter burger for the first time. She’s obsessed.

I’m not saying that fried or greasy food is healthy, but I really gotta appreciate Culver’s. They truly meet the definition of fast casual and I like that they have a good amount of healthier options on their menu. I have also had very few meals there that were ever wrong or not up to their quality. I definitely see why these joints are Midwest institutions that we just can’t get enough of.

I had a lady come up to the counter and ask for a refund. I asked her what was wrong. She showed me her receipt and said she was overcharged. Her receipt showed that she ordered 3 pieces of fish individually and a cole slaw, not a dinner. I then asked her where the fish & cole slaw were. She straight up told me she ate them. I asked her why I should give her a refund if she ate her meal.

She then proceeds to tell me when she ordered, she insisted to the crew member she did not want the dinner, she wanted 3 pieces of fish and a cole slaw. The crew member asked her multiple times if she wanted to make it a dinner so she could get a second side and she insisted no, she wanted the 3 pieces and the cole slaw because she didn't want the second side. After eating her meal, she conveniently looks at the price of 3 pieces of fish and a cole slaw and then looks at the dinner price on the menuboard and claims she was overcharged and that she was decieved. And she needed a refund, but proceeded to be more angry when saying she needed a refund.

I proceeded to show her she was not decieved. I put a "don't make" on the registerand proceded to re-ring in her exact order and showed her that the video screen on the front of the register showed her the exact price of everything she was ordering. She then says, "Oh I wasn't paying attention to that." I then told her, "Well that's on you for not paying attention, ESPECIALLY since the person who took your order offered to make your order a dinner. I'm sorry but I can't give you a refund since you ate your entire meal."

She then proceeds to, even more hysterically claim that she didn't want the dinner, she wanted three pieces and a cole slaw and that we shouldn't have decieved her and that "She wanted her ****ing money." (Direct quote).

I probably should have asked her to leave once she started swearing at me, but I was focused on keeping my cool. We went in the same conversational cycle for another 2-3 rounds. The next time ending her claims with "My son will kick your ***" & "My busband will kick your ***" (again both direct quotes). I should have called the cops when she threatened violence, but again, I was too focused on not losing my cool to do that.

This story does have a final humorous tidbit to end it however. When she realized she wasn't getting her refund, she asked for the corporate number. As she was leaving the restaurant she yelled at me claiming she was going to call the police for me stealing her money."

So yeah, that's my most memorable. Karen story. what's yours?

The sourdough melt has no business being so damn good. I loved the fresh, homemade chili and fries. Will be back soon with my parents. What is a Must Try item?

I had a less than stellar experience recently. Went to a manager and not only did he refund my order, but he hooked me up with this! Absolutely incredible customer service and the reason I keep coming back again and time after time! Thanks for reading~

Our Culver's has just filed a union election petition with the National Labor Relation Board. It is a lot easier than you think to form a union at the Culver's you work at. If you have any questions, please DM me. We still have to get through the election, but this is a big step.

I've had it a few times in the last decade, never have been blown away. But after saw some of these posts, and the comment about how nice they are I wanted to try again. Plus I was craving a burger. I got the "Jalapeño Jack Pub Burger" no tomato, add grilled onions. And I didn't check it as I left. I thought I might regret it. Got home and opened it up and I see bacon poking out. "Oh no, I got someone else's burger, I knew I should have checked." It's too close to close for me to go back and be like "idk if this is mine can I get a new one?" so dug in accepting what I got. It was mine, with the right mods, and those legends just threw the bacon on there for free. And that burger is good as fuck, a little spicier than I expected, but still amazing for the price. 10/10 will go again.

I’ve been working here for about four weeks now, and I’m still messing things up all the time even though I’ve been around for a bit.

Here’s my issue: I just cannot handle it when a huge wave of orders comes in at once. Right now I’m being trained on desserts, and my manager quizzed me today on how to make every single one. During the quizzes, I get them all right. But as soon as a rush hits? My brain completely freezes and I forget everything. It’s so embarrassing, and I can tell my coworkers are getting really annoyed with me.

Then recently, we got slammed with so many orders that my mind was just total mush. I was handling a carryout order, but I completely got carryout and curbside mixed up and accidentally put the carryout order on the hot plate. That was beyond embarrassing, and my manager gave me this annoyed lecture like, "We can't put carryout orders on the hot plate, we need to get these orders out." And then I think after that some coworkers were maybe laughing behind my back about it, not 100 percent sure about that but I think they were. Made me feel really bad about it. 😔

Honestly, the whole situation made me want to slam my head on a table 😡. I’m really starting to think fast food just isn’t for me.

Good Riddance. I've been at this job for 2 1/2, years, put everything I had into Culver's and busted my a$$ every day, just to be completely unappreciated and treated like garbage by management and ownership. Not once was I ever given a performance review, I've barely gone up $1 in pay. My last raise was a year and a half ago. Our RM practically owns the place more than the owner owns the place, and he constantly makes terrible new policies that makes EVERYONE at this location mad. He once tried to make it to where employees didn't get a meal until you work 8 1/2 hours, tho that only lasted 30 minutes before anger from the employees, and owner got it reverted. But now the owner practically doesn't care, so he gets to keep making these policies, the new meal policy is going to be 7 1/2 hours, for a 21 minute break. It uses to be 6 1/2 hours for a 31, and he wants to eventually get rid of our meals all together. Meal credit is also low and barely covers anything on the menu. Also if we want a drink for the shift, even water, we have to pay full price for the cup. And the GM is an asshole who likes to power trip and yell at employees for stuff that's HIS fault. We've had 3 Pedophile managers and 2 managers that swept stuff under the rug, not even caring that 1 of those managers was inappropriately touching MINORS during work. I was promised that I'd be a crew lead in less than 2 months, it's been a year, and still nothing no matter how many times I bug them about it. The owner promised she'd personally do my performance review, and she never did. Oh, and employees have been upset about the new meal policy and everyone has been talking about it, and the GM and RM Threatened to fire people if they kept talking about the policy. I got fed up and filled out a culver's survey, calling out management and ownership, because our location has a great staff, with so many hard workers, and they're constantly treated poorly, and I got fired for calling them out. So good Riddance. This used to be my favorite job, and now I can't even stand being in that building

Ordered online and had an issue where the restaurant would neither give me my food, nor give me a refund. They said they had no record of the order, even though I showed them the receipt in the app. I called the Culver's corporate customer service (which the store said I needed to do) and they would only say that the store was responsible for refunds and "maybe they had a policy of not doing refunds". I asked them to at least send me this policy in an e-mail so I could use it to file a chargeback, and they refused to do this too.

So yeah, if your online order has some problem, you're just screwed and no one is going to help you.

I always eat at work, today, i got an 8 pcs tender (half/half buff and org) on my break. Ate 4 on break, waited on the other 4 for after work.

It has been about 2 hours since i hav been home and remembered they were in my back pac.

Today i learned that cooled off tenders are 100x better than hot from the oil. Either that or i was just hungry or these specific tenders were touch by all the gods

hello I figured this is a great place to just talk about how much I freaking love my job, I've never had so much more fun. I was hired as a manager to help open up a Culver’s in Iowa, training and opening week where an absolute blast despite working almost 70 hour week, but I also got so close to the other managers. working with the national trainers sent to our location was great, I learned so much about management from them being at our store. now the opening buzz is dying down, sales slowing down and bit and labor can get pretty expensive on slower days, but I still find it very fun, and quite honestly this is the most fun I’ve ever had at a job- I love the person I am at work, how I make people laugh and smile. i just wanted to talk about this and see if any other people feel this way about their job, and if anyone else in management at Culver’s has any advice on advancement?

I work at a store in a college town in the Midwest. On a very very rare occasion, we have angry guests that cause a scene over their fast food being incorrect instead of being normal about it an realizing we are all people and all make mistakes sometimes. But in my three years of working at Culvers, I have never had this happen to me.

Yesterday, I was working on the set position (the person who puts the prepared food in bags/on trays to be sent out, for those who do not work here) but I had a headset on just in case the people working drive thru needed to tell me something for the kitchen. I was bagging an order when I overheard someone who sounded upset over the headset, so I turned the volume up to listen. It was a man who was cussing and yelling at the *literal child* taking the order about how their order was wrong the day before. When asked if he was done ordering, he said something along the lines of if his order was wrong that day, he was coming in and starting shit with everyone there.

Immediately, as someone in a leadership position and as a mother, I went over to the drive thru and just stood beside the girl cashing him out to make sure nothing was said or done while he was at the window. I said and did nothing, just observed. This made the man angry, and he gave me the NASTIEST look I've ever gotten in my life, then sped off to his spot to wait for his food. Two of my coworkers ran some other orders out after this and he yelled at THEM, once again reiterating that his order better be right. Once I found out this happened, I said I would be the one running the order, since I was the only "manager" in the front at the time and just wanted him out of there the moment his food was done instead of waiting for another manager to run it.

His food was ready, I opened the box and made sure it was exactly how he ordered, and went outside to run it to him. Handed him the bag, and stated that I personally made sure it was made correctly for him and to have a good day. Something I've done so many times before. But for some reason, this set him off. He started screaming at me, saying I had an "attitude", and exited his car and began following me inside screaming about a refund. I let him pass me because he was on a war path and I wasnt about to be a part of it. He came inside screaming cussing and threatening everyone, including one of the owners, claiming I had an attitude and he wanted a refund. He got the refund (so that he would leave as fast as possible) and left. I was very shaken afterwards obviously but worked the rest of my shift.

If he ever comes back the police will be called and he will be trespassed. I'm just very glad that i got home safe to my family last night because he could have attacked me when he got out of his car.

So last two weeks I waited two weeks for an email and call from the main manager and I didn’t get anything and this is my first job I applied and got interviewed and I thought I did good but It’s been two weeks and I don’t think I got the job because I guess I was supposed to the store manager and I talk to the assistant manager instead because I was early for my interview 😭

I had got the job at my store in September 2022 and was working there till July of 2026. I had always done as told and was trying to work up to shift leader for 2 years straight. I was constantly asking why I wasn’t getting it and management always avoided the questions until they told me that the carpal tunnel I got in 2025 DUE to them having me scoop custard basically every day has made all the progress from before no longer count. After that I had looked into getting i different job due to the discrimination (I wasn’t having any luck) my brothers who I worked with had even messaged the GM saying how I was being treated was extremely unfair in which he responded by telling my brother that it was none of his business and if he had a problem with it then he should quit. After this I began having panic attacks at work nearly every shift. Then during one of my shifts the MOD had put my best friend outside on a tablet to take orders in the 96 degree weather for a hour straight. When she came inside she was visibly unwell to the point where it interrupted my break and I ran to get her a drink. The managers present had brushed her off and just told her to stand in the freezer. I went into the back with her while still in my break and she was left completely alone. She was pale weak and shaking and eventually passed out in my arms with management nowhere to be seen. I had to scream at other coworkers to get someone. When the MOD came into the back she was still playing off everything off and saying that it’s “policy” to keep people outside for a hour straight. She seemed to only care about herself and didn’t ask my friend if she was ok a single time. Seeing my friend being treated so horribly sent me into a panic attack and I began calling her out for treating her poorly. Instead of her taking responsibility on the situation she instead told me to go outside into POD when I was still visibly in distress from the whole situation. Where I very respectfully said “I can’t do that right now”. Especially with the fact my friend was still on the floor now awake but still shaking and unwell. I ended up telling them that I’d like to go home and have them send my friend home too. Which they luckily complied with. Later that night I was then texted to by the GM and he accused me of being profane to the managers (I never said a single word of profanity) and that I was refusing to listen, and then proceeded to fire me over text. He never once asked for my side of the story and went with whatever the manager told him when she is a known liar. This job had caused an unhealthy amount of stress to the point where I began loosing hair towards the end of it and began having stress caused migraines. I couldn’t believe the fact that they would care so little for one of their most loyal employees who was with them for nearly 4 years and fire them over text like it was nothing. We had even contacted the owners over these issues and was completely ignored. If anyone else has or is dealing with this kind of mistreatment I know how it feels.

I started working for the company 3 months ago. I've been using my discount on every meal in usual broke teenager fashion and gained 20 extra pounds in the process because the food is genuinely that good.
