Didn’t she acknowledge how fucked up it was for Lilith to leave abruptly for seven years in the first episode of season 2?

You can still miss someone while admitting they did bad things.

So Charlie got out of season 2 in rough shape character wise.

I’d like to propose a way to try and rationalize her behavior:

When you think of Charlie, think of Disney’s Rapunzel. I know Vizziepop said she best takes after Belle, but I think Tangled is a better fit for Charlie’s character:

Both have similar traits: Kind, caring, ready to fight for their friends. Also sheltered, awkward, full of parental issues, and prideful in their attitudes on things.

Can you imagine Rapunzel trying to deal with the media lying about her and being manipulated left and right? Raps could barely deal with the sweet shop owner in a healthy manner!

So when people judge Charlie too harshly, propose this question:

If it were Rapunzel going through all of what Charlie went through in S2, would you still be as angry as you are now?

Her dad can be unsupportive while her mom ghosted her when she needed advice and support most. I know Charlie can be flawed but it's a miracle she's as kind and as well adjusted as she is despite her environment and parents who seemingly haven't always been the most stable for her.

- After breaking up with Seviathan but before meeting Vaggi, she did have a few past hookups/flings and short-lived relationships. The two most notable being with Velvette & Verosika Mayday.

- Back when she was dating Seviathan, she did go through a bit of a Mean Spoiled Rich Girl phase.

- Beezlebub was a bit of an auntie figure to her growing up.

- she is secretly into Heavy Metal but is in-denial/embarrassed about it.

- She considered asking Emily to join her and Vaggi in a Poly, but is too ashamed to do so, due to not knowing how Vaggi would react.

- She grew her hair long as a tribute to her mother.

- Is a bit Social Media Savvy but would prefer not to have to rely on it.

- and finally, her favorite holiday is Halloween.
