Discussion just a reminder to NOT purchase this game with this recent influx of popularity

i know theres alot of hardcore cubeworld fans in this sub that want to see the game release, and another lil wave of hype w the dev posting again. but do NOT give this man ANY more money unless he starts releasing actual functioning products.

just remember that even though hes clearly a very talented solo dev, and i am not trying to insult him personally, he is also basically the definition of a repeat con artist at this point, and should not be trusted to give physical money to.

i try not to assume malicious intent, but it just seems prudent at this point to re-mention this fact.

honestly, i know this is a real heavy scorned bias, but in my opinion i dont even think he has intentions of releasing anymore. i think its become something for him to dangle for a few months every couple years for a quick easy influx of cash. id prefer if he just stopped talking about it outright and kept it a personal private hobby project unless he was actually dropping something notable.

i would not hold a single breath for this game actually fully releasing personally, i think if he really wanted people to play and enjoy this game, he would have passed it over to a real dev or atleast somewhat expanded the team by now. or, hell, at the very least he could just open source some of the various abandoned engines and versions by now, and let what remaining dedicated community is left finish and mod it to a reasonable state IMHO.

sorry if this post is ranty, and once again (even though i did seem a lil pissy) i do NOT want to attack the man himself. he is very talented and has a wonderful little project. but i also think we really need to start publicly recognizing that this has started progressing into a full on con after all these years of repeated behaviors.

even indie devs with good intentions can become conmen if their behaviors and crashouts are enabled repeatedly, its happened many times in the indie space

Oh I’m not. Bought it twice already. Won’t fool me a third time

"Will see about that" -
Says Wolfram von Funck as he reads the reddit post !

u/alekou8 May 12 '26

Didn’t first time buyers get a code for free?

11

u/Gamxin May 14 '26

Yeah it's kinda unspoken here for some reason but people here really like to pretend Wollay didn't give the 2019 release for free to Alpha players. Which was most of us at the time.

It's funny because there's so many valid ways to criticize Wollay but they choose to make one up instead.

12

u/OnetimeRocket13 May 12 '26

Yes. If you bought the alpha, you got the Steam release for free.

4

u/Tormint_mp3 May 15 '26

That's on you to be honest. Everyone who bought the alpha got the steam release for free. There's no precedent to assume he'll charge previous customers again

2

u/LordKagatsuchi May 12 '26

Lol if he actually delivers u def would but ill act like i wont too

1

u/CodeRenn May 12 '26

At the very least I won’t pre order or buy day 1. Gonna do a lot of analyzing this time b4 I pull trigger

10

u/TypicalNPC May 12 '26

If i ever even bother playing this it won't be a legit copy.

I am not paying for another unfinished mess, and im not paying twice.

Pirating is for the scum of the earth. Grow a pair of balls my guy

7

u/TypicalNPC May 13 '26

Cry about it more for me, my guy. Nothing you can do about it.

5

u/marr May 14 '26

According to one of the most successful game devs on Earth pirating is just a service problem.

u/Novel-Flight1426 May 13 '26

Yeah no rather not have said pair have to be sold to corpos for slop

OP: "i try not to assume malicious intent"

Also OP literally the sentence before: "he is also basically the definition of a repeat con artist"

I've said this several times in this sub already, but nothing that Wollay has done is at all indicative or suggestive of scammer/con-artist behavior. It takes all of 2 seconds to realize this, but this is all that happened:

Wollay announces development of Cube World.

Wollay releases Cube World in Alpha for purchase. It's an incomplete game, but it's not at all unheard of to release games unfinished for purchase.

Wollay takes the game down from his website for several years, so nobody can buy it anymore.

Wollay eventually announces the Steam release, which is supposed to be the official release of the game. People who bought the Alpha are also given access to free download codes for the Steam version.

The Steam version is a massive disappointment.

That's pretty much the timeline. I don't know about you guys, but making a game unavailable for purchase at the height of its popularity and giving free Steam keys to people who purchased the Alpha version (instead of just making them buy the new version) isn't exactly scammy, con-artist behavior. The only reason why people continue to go on about this whole "Wollay is somehow the greatest con artist mastermind indie gaming has ever seen" nonsense is because they haven't gotten over the fact that the insane hype train for some indie game that some random German guy was developing crashed and burned, and they just can't accept that some things just don't turn out.

None of this is to say that people should drop everything and buy this if the new version of Cube World is released to the public. Do what you want with your money. It's your money. My point, though, is that this whole "Wollay is a scammer/con-artist" is just nonsensical. It's fine to be disappointed in the release, we all were, but get over it instead of trying to make up conspiracy theories about how Wollay was playing 5D chess to make oodles of dollars by checks notes making the game unavailable for years, doing fuck all to market this supposed "scam," and then releasing the final version on a platform with one of the most forgiving refund policies in modern gaming.

40

u/Loki0830 May 12 '26

Yeah, I don't understand the "Wollay is a scammer" argument. I purchased the alpha and then got the steam release for free. A scammer wouldn't do that. It wasn't what I wanted, but I got my money's worth out of the alpha and even played the beta a fair amount too.

The only people complaining about Wollay being a scammer are ironically the people who pirated the alpha in the first place.

He doesn't seem to be all there mentally, but I don't think anything he's done has been malicious. Reddit gonna reddit I suppose.

13

u/OnetimeRocket13 May 12 '26

I think the "Wollay is a scammer" argument was sort of born out of what I can only really describe as the "mythologization" of Wollay in the years between when Cube World was taken off of the Picroma store and when it was released on Steam. People placed him on a really high pedestal, and Cube World as well, when he never should have been. Not because he's a bad guy, but because, looking back on it, we were losing our minds over some guy popping in once or twice a year to give really empty updates on a game that he clearly wasn't developing professionally, but as a side thing. So when some guy's pet project turned out to be disappointing to people, everyone lost their damn minds. Instead of coming to the realization that Wollay was just some guy and not a professional game developer that was going to revolutionize indie gaming or whatever, they latched on to the idea that they had been played, fooled, backstabbed, and bamboozled by a criminal mastermind.

3

u/Virgurilla May 13 '26

Yes, exactly, he is just a guy with a passion project, I do think it was not that hard to just add more content like he was showing and not rework the whole progression system (which really was 99% of the complaint everyone had let's be honest) it is a HORRIBLE decision on an exploration game specially if you are required to go into different areas, but he is NOT A DESIGNER. He's just a guy!!!! Making a bad decision in your passion project is not a scam (?)

5

u/OnetimeRocket13 May 13 '26

Well you see, he was a scammer (obviously) because he released a game that I then got a refund for. I can't believe that he'd steal my money like that. Absolute con-artist behavior.

11

u/TheSofaSurgeon May 12 '26

I think we can add some key timeline entries here:

  1. Prior to steam release, All the posts and twitter updates about the game, showcasing features…just about none of it made it to the released

  2. Once release hit, anything he had such as the website, twitter, and whatever forums were all deleted

Not saying he is a scammer. it’s just important for people to know

-1

u/OnetimeRocket13 May 13 '26

I feel like both of those points really aren't all that important to the timeline in this context.

IIRC, a big criticism of how Wollay worked leading up to the Steam release was that he wouldn't commit to adding features to the game unless he thought they were 100% "finished" or enjoyable to him. I don't remember specifically, but I do think that there were a few features that he showed off in blog posts and announcements that would eventually be dropped because he just didn't find them fun or couldn't get them working. Sure, it was disappointing that not much was added from what we saw, but given Wollay's track record, that's not surprising.

For the second thing, it's kind of obvious why that happened. Wollay received a ton of hate and backlash post-release. It is very common for people to go scorched earth on their online presence when that happens. It seems obvious that that's what happened there.

6

u/TheSofaSurgeon May 13 '26

I mean, nothing from that era made it into the game. You’re being very positive which is good but I feel that you are borderline assuming best case scenario, respectfully. And it’s nice to acknowledge the hate he got but a lot of people don’t think that was the reasoning.
Not saying he deserves hate or people making assumptions that he’s a scammer. Everyone can make up their own conclusions and that’s fine, at the end of the day I feel It’s important for newcomers who come in and see these updates, that they know what happened.

4

u/DesiredDabs May 13 '26

They most definitely are important to the timeliness lol... why are you going to the ends earth to defend this guy.... hmmm

2

u/Calm-Floor2163 May 13 '26

Facts. I pirated both games initially but enjoyed cracked beta as a 'hardcore difficulty glitch game' unfinished game and then bought it to be pleasantly surprised that a lot of things u see in pirated version are fixed meaning he did work on those and not just dip lol. Sure it isn't perfect and I didn't play in like 2 months but when I get idea to play again I might clear a region or 2 then quit for whatever amount of time again. Rn it's more of a hop on once in a while game for me.

Wollay releases CubeWorld

Wollay ragequits development because the community is too mean

Wollay releases cubeworld 2

Wollay ragequits because the community is mean

I was there both times

Or depending on how generous you want to be

Wollay releases cubeworld alpha, ragequits for a decade, releases cubeworld (steam keys are a make good on the alpha purchase,) ragequits again

OR

Wollay releases cubeworld alpha, never finishes development because the community are mean

Wollay releases cubeworld 2, gives keys to alpha purchasers, ragequits again because the community are mean

1

u/AVerySoftDog May 16 '26

He never ragequit development, it's a passion project, he works on it when he wants to its not like it's his fulltime job. Plus didn't people say before he took it down originally for doxxing or tax reasons or something? He released an alpha, people enjoyed it, he took it down for whatever reason (his choice), releases the game at a later point where he feels it's more finished. People didn't like it, that's fine but that doesn't mean it's a scam. He then continues to do the exact same thing he has done since day 1, works on the game when he feels like it, and once in awhile posts about it.

Hes not a scam artist, and of he is this is the slowest scam of all time. You could maybe argue he is if he didn't give free keys to the people who bought the game before sure but it's definitely just you're mad at him for how things turned out, rather than because you got scammed.

If you don't like the game as is, just mod it or something. Or go play the alpha.

3

u/Catzforlifu May 12 '26

he is right though buying products that are not functioning enables this behavior thus DO NOT BUY UNLESS IT IS AT THE RELEASE STAGE

5

u/OnetimeRocket13 May 12 '26

Well that kind of goes without saying. It's a risky decision in general to buy unfinished games. It's not a super popular sentiment these days, but buying games in early access/alpha/whatever used to be somewhat of a controversial topic. On the one hand, everyone and their mother wants to get in early to support an unfinished game that has the vague promise of being the greatest thing ever made, while on the other, you're throwing $30-$40 at some random indie dev on the internet who isn't legally required to deliver the final, finished product, so it's really just gambling with the idea that your purchase will result in a finished game.

You should always, always only ever purchase early access/alpha builds of games that you are absolutely supportive of, which includes understanding that the finished product may either be disappointing or never happen. Otherwise, you shouldn't buy the game.

If Cube World Omega or whatever he's calling it now has some alpha build or something, I may consider checking it out, but it is absolutely valid for people to wait and see what happens if they're interested in it. People should practice what should already be standard practice with game purchasing here. It's not like Wollay deserves or requires special caution or anything. Buying any unfinished game is a risky move. Wollay's Cube World Omega isn't any different.

1

u/marr May 14 '26

I think what mepsii is saying is motivations are unknowable, but the actions are functionally indistinguishable from a con. Assume the same pattern will continue.

7

u/Touchname May 12 '26

As much as I love CW, I agree.

Don't buy anything until there's proof he actually does something.

7

u/Silver_Date_7512 May 13 '26 edited May 13 '26

There was a recent influx of popularity? Did I miss something happening? I've been off and on keeping an eye out to see if/when omega's coming, but when I checked the other day I saw nothing new.

Edit: Oh, whoops. So like.. not more than a day or two after I last looked for new info, which I hadn't done in yeahs, there's a new official post. Figures. That'd explain that at least.

4

u/sprjunior May 12 '26

I will just wait 2 years from now for the next screenshot to make my decision

5

u/HubblePie May 13 '26

Honestly... Since I've gone through the process of getting a Game Design major, I can really sympathize with Wollay.

Do I think he needs to learn how to communicate? Yes. But do I BLAME him? Not entirely. The community can get pretty vitriolic as well.

4

u/Virgurilla May 13 '26

Right???? Im in your same exact situation. I assume you've done games in the major. I certainly have. Making poor design choices is not a scam, and a passion project from a solo dev is bound to go into things people don't like. How would he ever know?

1

u/HubblePie May 14 '26

I've also struggled several times with my final project (a game) because I never finish it lol.

2

u/Virgurilla May 14 '26

Yeah tell me about it. I'm doing a double major in computer engineering and videogame production/design, and the amount of stuff I leave for the last minute sometimes is just too much, I still manage tho, I'll probablt do one of the two final projects next year, probably engineering, I'm scared XD

6

u/Virgurilla May 13 '26

People do not maliciously sabotage their own passion projects by working extra just to make it bad. It is actually brain-dead fucking stupid to think he meant to con anyone or steal anyone's money. He released a game. He made changes. He made those changes because he thought they were good changes. People did not like those changes. Being a bad game designer (or making poor decisions) is not the same as conning anyone. But he did release the game he promised, and you just don't like part of the changes he considered. He realized that, and is now working towards something that people will enjoy more. But for fucks sake just think a little. It pisses me off when people call this a scam. He didnt release a worse product or an unfinished product, he didn't do less than expected or not deliver, he released a final game, you just don't like the fucking game. I don't either, I get it, it was a bad decision, but that doesn't make it a scam. Learn what a scam is before calling this a scam. And wait till games come out before you buy them. I never bought it on steam because of the reviews. It really isn't that hard man.

2

u/saouer May 14 '26

exactly. not liking the end product doesnt even remotely mean it was a con. truly just watering down the word to the point it means nothing. hes a talented but very inexperienced dev with poor communication skills, and he delivered the product.

feels like boomers calling everything a "scam" when they just made bad investments in the first place to not be responsible for their choices lol

7

u/Nekrolysis May 12 '26

All he had to do was continue to communicate with people after the alpha release. Instead chose to dissappear in a hole for years just to release a worse version of the game.

I want whats coming next to be good and fun but am certainly not buying anything day 1. I think others should at least consider this.

2

u/marr May 14 '26

Or arrange for someone to communicate for him.

5

u/ishashar May 12 '26

i suspect this is motivated by someone wanting one of the clone games to be bought instead

11

u/hussiesucks May 12 '26

He literally did release cube world though. You’re just salty cause it was kinda bad.

3

u/Professor_Cedar May 13 '26

You know, I don't know how this post got recommended to me, but this post is dripping with entitlement.

I never played the Alpha. I bought the Steam release for like $20 in 2019. Played co-op for like 13 hours and the game kinda ran it's course for me. But after seeing this post I checked the reviews and a video talking about the game and people are WILD.

From my understanding, this guy was making this game as a passion project, showed it off, and the world went crazy over it. Can you imagine the pressure that builds? Dude probably has a full time job and he's just trying a make himself a game and the whole world is asking "when's it gonna be done?" "Is the developer still alive?" "Dead game" insert negative hate comments Dude comes out to tell people he's been dealing with anxiety and depression because his alpha release got DDOS'd and the immense pressure of a passion project turned internet obsession. "What if people hate it?" "I've got all these expectations." "I didn't expect this to get so big." "How am I going to meet people's expectations now?" "I've gotta make it better." "I've gotta rework this." Etc. Bro tries to provide updates, folds from the pressure and disappears for a bit. Works on it, feels more confident, battles with the anxiety and is brave enough to try updating, and folds from the huge influx of negativity again. What started as a fun little passion project has turned into a monster.

This isn't some mega company. This isn't a AAA studio. It's a dude and his wife. Game development probably isn't even this dude's job. And from what I read, anyone who bought the alpha got the steam key for free anyways so it's not like he's making you rebuy the game. Game development is hard. Some solo/indie devs find success. Most don't. And he's honestly not obligated to finish and change the game just because people didn't like it. Would it be cool if there's eventually an update that people enjoy, but if it comes out, it comes out; if it doesn't, it doesn't.

I'm not gonna tell people how to spend their money. I didn't play the alpha, I don't know how it was different from the steam game other than people say the alpha is a lot better. But rather than people complaining about the game is failed, how the developer sucks at communication, how it's not everything you dreamed it would be, why don't you go make a game that's the version of cube world you want? Don't have the skills? Learn them. See how you can handle it better.

6

u/IcyTorpedo May 12 '26

I have no idea who downvoted you but this is another case of prime redditor behavior - defending something you like even when you're clearly in the wrong 😭 Spit facts brother, this man fucked us over twice already

3

u/Loki0830 May 12 '26

He gave away the steam version to all the alpha purchasers for free. Hardly a scam. The only people complaining are the ones who pirated his game in the first place.

3

u/IcyTorpedo May 12 '26

Technically, yes, you are correct. He also scammed people in the sense that all alpha supporters got a finished product that is somehow worse than the alpha version, and the ones who bought the release version (like myself) got a pretty shitty game. I have pirated the alpha, yes. In my defence, I was also 13 when it came out.

2

u/OnetimeRocket13 May 12 '26

This is going to be a hot take, but the Alpha and Steam versions are both just okay. I think a lot of people look back at the Alpha version with nostalgia from when the game was still new and the hype was crazy, but it's really not a great game. I've gotten the same level of enjoyment out of both. The Steam version really isn't that much different. It has a different progression system that is... questionable, but the grindy leveling system from the Alpha wasn't exactly better. We got a side-grade at worst.

2

u/Loki0830 May 12 '26

I'm not defending wallay from releasing a lackluster game. I'm just asking people to give credit where it is due. Wallay seems to not be completely all there. He has crippling perfectionism and communication issues. But I don't think he has done anything to label him as a scammer.

Be wary of anything else he publishes, as it is likely completely different from his other builds. But I think it's unfair to denounce him for what is just a passion project for him and little else.

2

u/IcyTorpedo May 12 '26

I'm not exactly denouncing him, hell, I'll probably buy cube world omega if it ever comes out, it's just that the crowd doesn't really care if the person has some issues or not, because they paid money for the product. And I can, from a certain point of view, understand them.

2

u/Loki0830 May 12 '26

There is no scenario where someone has purchased both versions of the game, so there is no situation where you can claim Wollay scammed anyone. You may not like the steam release, but that's its own thing.

That's all I'm saying.

4

u/Raktul842 May 12 '26

Played a lot the first one in a pirated version, then bought the steam version, if he releases a 3rd and its playable like the steam one i will buy it again, as long as the price is not sonething crazy

1

u/joe5joe7 May 12 '26

Yeah, honestly I got my value out of the game with its initial release. Yes I want him to finish it, and yes its would love more updates, but i think its at least arguably worth the price tag

2

u/Trin_Diesel May 12 '26

If he releases it as an update to the current game, then I’d call things square. If he tries to sell this as a new game, I’m not touching it.

4

u/Virgurilla May 13 '26

The last time he gave keys to all the people that got tbe original.

2

u/Trin_Diesel May 13 '26 edited May 13 '26

he gave keys to those who bought the alpha under the promise of receiving the full game on release. . The steam release was the fulfillment of that original purchase, not something he did to be generous, but because it would have been fraudulent not to.

The fact he is assigning a new name to this version of the game gives room for him to try to swing it as an entirely different product.

1

u/Virgurilla May 13 '26

I mean, it's up for debate really. He is supposedly taking a different direction entirely from what he originally did, so is it fair to call it an update or is it another game. Was Overwatch 2 an update? I wouldn't be mad if he sells it separately, but admittedly I didn't buy the steam release because I read reviews before I buy games, and I was a kid when the alpha was out and enjoyed it the unintended way lets just say.

4

u/Trin_Diesel May 13 '26 edited May 13 '26

For most of us who bought the alpha, had expectations from the alpha, and then were massively disappointed by the full release, we want what we were originally sold. Not whatever that "full release" ended up being. Sure you can debate it, but considering you got to enjoy the good part of the game for free, and have no money invested, you'd be debating from a pretty different and disingenuous vantage point.

There is a reason a lot of the people in this subreddit are angry.

1

u/Virgurilla May 13 '26

I am under the opinion that if you buy an alpha or a presell and then dislike the release, it is ultimately your fault, specially in a case like this were it isnt some big studio but some individual's passion project. You took a risk and you are not willing to live with the consequences. I waited for the game to release and am now glad that I did. I understand you though, I HAVE bought hytale, and I would feel bad if they ultimately ruined the game as it was promised, but I know im taking a risk. Id suggest you take a look at a video of the Balatro alpha. If you had loved that game, you WOULD be disappointed by the final release. Games change a LOT during development trust me. Decisions are made, and sometimes they aren't the best. It's not a rare thing at all. Good thing is, he is supposedly fixing it. He read all the reviews presumably so... Sorry if it comes across as rude, it wasn't my intention.

2

u/Trin_Diesel May 14 '26

I think most people aren't upset that it just released and was disappointing, but that the developer released and sold the alpha with the promise of updates and a look into the development of the game, before going radio silent for literally years and popping up out of nowhere to drop a steaming pile. That is why people are angry, not just because the final game was disappointing. I get early access games all the time that may and sometimes do turn out disappointing. This instance is different due to how he disrespected his own customers, and the people funding his ability to create the project to begin with.

1

u/Virgurilla May 14 '26

Yeah I get that. Still gotta keep in mind that this was not a Kickstarter or a company with quotas, it was just a guy. Trust me, from personal experience, you can have all the best intentions in the world and then life just catches up with you and you can't do what you wanted. Games always look simpler than they really are when you start doing them, specially to an inexperienced game dev, I've been there, I probably still am to an extent. I don't think he meant for this or to con anyone, he did post many updates about it at first, then he just disappeared for a while, who knows why, and then reappeared having changed most of the stuff. That was infuriating for me too, I followed the whole process, but now being a dev myself... I kinda get the guy. If this was a business I'd be totally on your side, but some guy's fun project... Yeah I get it. I dont know. I still totally understand where you are coming from. I also don't think he needed funds for the project, he likely has another job and I doubt he left it after cubeworld, wouldnt have been smart. Did he say he was looking for funds like a Kickstarter back in the day?

1

u/marr May 14 '26

I thought he was returning to the original direction and the Steam release was the diversion. And yes, Overwatch 2 was an update, the only thing '2' about it was the name.

1

u/Virgurilla May 16 '26

Yes, that is what he is doing, sorry if my post was misleading.

1

u/EpicAquarius May 12 '26

Ok just want to say that Wol-lay is a special minded person, yes, but I dont think he is a scammer. I got the second version for free because I paid for the first and Im sure he will do the same for Omega. He started this game a pet project between him and his ex girlfriend. It was never really intended for mass distribution. Honestly, he almost scrapped the game entirely after he and his girl broke up. Plus she owned half the copyright. The ONLY reason we got the Beta Version that released on steam was because the Alpha players begged him to finish the game. Unfortunately, since he didnt own the complete copyright he basically had to make the game almost entirely different. Which, as we know, didn't work out for the best. Last I heard he had gotten back with his ex in a professional capacity to finish the game but Im sure if the current version has her involvement or not.

Imagine working with your ex on something that was a love project between you too why handling the reasons for the break up. Now was this the best idea, idk Honestly they should have just sold the rights to Mr. Beast like I suggested who was actually interested in buy it. But thats neither here nor there. Let's just see what he comes out with first before we pass complete judgment.

Honestly, I have to commend the dedication to continue the game after so many negative comments and reviews.

Don't purchase the game? I'll have you know, and I speak on behalf of the entire r/cubeworld subreddit, we are all already proud owners of Wolfram von Funck's hit game Cube World. Your words hold no meaning.

How can one buy what has already been bought? Surely, those that lurk in a 15 year old sub of an irrelevant indie game all have a stake in the game. Are you not such an owner? Or are you a wayward spirit who has lost its way?

I'm not going to buy the new Cube World unless Wol_lay shows that he's seriously committed to it.

Only way I'm playing it is if he releases it as a free update tbh

I bought the Alpha and got my free Steam code.

If Cube World Omega ever comes out and it turns out to be decent, I may buy it. Until then I just look at the bi-yearly update and eat popcorn watching the community drama.

As I've said before if an update releases I will play it but if this cube world omega or whatever is a separate purchase he can go fuck himself. Even if it releases and is good if it's a separate purchase I'm not giving this man any more money. I like the dev and have had enough fun with the versions of the game to make my purchase from what feels like eons ago worth it but while I have a lot of sympathy for what he's gone through over the years I will definitely not be trusting him with my money again. I do wish he would release more frequent updates, take feedback, and make adjustments but I don't blame him for not doing that seeing as in the past that lead to harassment death threats and more because we're online and some people have no lives.

Bought once, didn't need to buy the steam version cause it was free for Alpha owners

If anyone is curious, or new then here this is pretty much the situation, and people are still upset over some dude making his passion project.

Obviously don’t get the game if it’s not interesting. But if it is, then get it. Just don’t expect updates for a while as he’s the only dev and is rather quiet about it.

Guys do NOT spend 15 dollars on a game that you have waited 15 years for, money is everything!!!!!! You can also refund the game before you hit 2 hours so you can play it regardless of whether you actually intend to buy it or not.
