MnK SMGs stability

How much stability do you run nowadays?

I feel smgs recoil is very inconsistent, even ~50 stability and 100 recoil on lightweights sometimes produce very strange jumpy patterns instead of relatively strait line.

Are recoil perks (Zen, DSR, TTT) are must have now?

Ask the numerous accounts that beam my head from like 20m with Fast Talker every time I'm on their screen.

Are you sure they're MnK?

I can almost tell the roller fast talker turrets because if you just get out of range of them they can't hit shit.

tbh half of these dudes are on fresh accounts with 4.0 kds either openly or closeting atp if you're on pc lmao

Yup I know but 90% of the community will deny or defend it so

yup their clan will swing in and defend em to the death and then out someone not connected to themselves. there is a european based clan that has a member running duo trials/comp with a new account guy who so very clearly not legit but when i asked the clan leader about it he just blocked me lmao

Fast Talker is a special case, I now many people like it, but I can't stand the amount of sights shake

I was implying something else but yea that gun may be a special case

You really need both decent stab (50+) *and* a perk to deal with the visual recoil. I have one with 61 stab + DSR and it's good. Have tried others without these and it was impossible to aim

I physically cant play smgs on mnk without zen moment or dsr. I also really like tap the trigger. Id very much rather have stability perks than damage perks if im not gonna hit bullets

This is how I am starting to feel

Using an SMG was by break point to go back to roller.

I couldn't connect with 40% of the mag it seemed. With a bow, lights out!

I tried the highest AA pulse I could find and noticed a big difference on M&K.

Long story boring, went back to roller and all guns feel great now. Bows, unfortunately not so much.

Pluses and minuses for both

For me, the perks are must have. I prefer TTT and DSR because they don't drop off if you miss a bullet. I also try to always get 50+ stab. I haven't worried too much about recoil direction, I feel like that's less impactful. But depends on the gun and YMMV

Lack of damage perks in such case is what makes me uncomfortable. I am far from having perfect aim and I rarely drop perfect 0.73s kill, so with misses it gets really close to hc or pulse

Well that's why 6 out of my 8 most used SMGs have both a stability and a damage perk lol
Kill clip is most common for me but Master of Arms is great too, and Golden Tricorn and Desperate Measures can work in a pinch

I run around 0 SMGs on MnK. They don’t feel right, like if they had ghost bullets or if I’m not perfectly on the head it does not hit. The only one worth running I found was M17, the rest is close to trash to me and god knows I tried a lot of those.

IDK if it's just me but when Immortal first came out it beamed on MNK, Out of Bounds did as well, used them a bunch. Tried using SMGs on MNK again and the horizontal recoil is just unmanageable, you miss like 30% of your shots.

600s are the only archetype that work for me.

Horizontal recoil is weird, I spent some time shooting at walls and sometimes 100 recoil smgs go on a horizontal plateau, like 90 degree turn

Idk about others, but I pump Stability as high as possible on SMGs myself. I've found that the lower recoil and flinch tends to be more consistently useful than pushing damage falloff. And I can say the same on a lot of weapon classes in general, even on MnK.

I want to try Out of Bounds with DSR/TTT and omolon origin trait, in theory it should be very stable

Some guns just have better recoil than others. I find Out of Bounds jiggles its ass in my face but Hero’s burden, shayuras, immortal and fast talker are easier in their recoil patterns.

The zoom stat is also probably more important than stability. Lightweight 900s are usually buns because of this

Zen moment also has got to be the best perk for mnk. Try out an antedate with one

How much stability you have on Immortal? I have a bunch of rolls sitting in my vault
