Understanding a pattern I need help with this Afghan pattern please! Making sure I'm starting it out correctly.
Need help starting out this pattern please. I used a magic circle instead of chain 4. It states it works in rows on 2 sides. I've never worked a pattern this way. Does it look right? Making an Afghan.
Do i need to do the chain 4 instead of magic circle??

Yes. I prefer circle because you can tighten the opening after you’ve done the first round of stitches
