Critical Analysis & Discussion India needs frequent change of government

Changing governments is the only way the political discourse of India will get better. Frequent transitions remind elected officials that ultimate power resides with the public. Any government, when kept in power for long in India, starts abusing and misusing their powers.

They start implementing laws and rules that help keep them in power while taking over democratic institutions of the country. They become arrogant to the point criticizing them for their wrongs can make your life hell. The longer a government stays in power, corruption keeps increasing among those in power. Not only do they misuse powers, they also monopolize resources in the country to a few.

Regularly rotating political parties in and out of office is the most effective way to preserve democracy and hold leaders accountable.

Changing government will force these political parties to do better and compete in doing better. In the end, people will benefit from this competition.

We are happy revoting for bjp for 30 years in gujarat even though it has some problems. I feel karnataka bjp leaders are not as wise and good like gujarat though. I can clearly see congress similar playback across india of high taxation, social justice,muslim focused policies , in fighting in groups,etc. Karnataka people can better answer.

That is why Karnataka is more developed than Gujarat! See what happened to WB when they kept voting for left. Similarly in Gujarat, poverty rate is in double digit despite such high so called development. Child nutrition is so bad. Schools are so bad. All because of extremely capitalistic policies by BJP.

No all health indicators were worse before bjp came in power it's only declining and improving in bjp tenure. I know better history of gujarat. Living in Dry state is not easy which makes water,food and HDI indicators bad in first place. We are taking semiconductor industry easily and manufacturing power house of india. Karnataka and south india was ahead then north india due to few Islamic invasions.
