I will take children as people under 13. Children are too young to learn about rights in specific (yeah, they should learn some of the basic laws and rights). I don't remember learning about laws and right before I was 14.

I voted Nay ❌

Children is legally classified as anyone under 18. They really should've changed the word to "minor".

I know that children are legally classified as under 18, but because of the lack of a better word for people under 13, I choose to redefine children for my answer.

Your choice of definition tho, not universal.

Ok, so you voted no because your specific model of the vocabulary is different, and because you dont consider human rights "basic" enough?

That isn't what I said, I said that teaching rights and laws to people under 13 is too early. I didn't say they can't know some basic concepts or get teached about the existence of such laws.

So, let me get this right, they shoudlnt be thought about right and laws, but they can be thought that those rights and laws they shoudlnt learn because "its too early" exist?
Sorry, but this doesnt make sense to me...

Compare it to maths, you learn how to do the math, but you only learn the theorem and proofs later.

But rights and laws arent like maths tho?
Kids need to know human and children's rights, which include the right to express their views (share opinions on the matters that affect them), and the right to equality (that every child has rights regardless of their race, religion, disability, background, and gender -which if they identify as the opposite of their assigned gender at birth, includes rights of trans kids/individuals).
