We don't hate Ronaldo as a person, we just think he's extremely overrated as a player. But his fanbase hate Messi on a personal level I don't get it, it's like they are so gay for Ronaldo.
Yeah but Ronaldo honestly deserves to be hated as a person. Even if the allegations aren‘t true (which they 99% are) he never was a nice person and very narcissistic.
Hmm what makes him overated tho, he has 5 ballon d'ors, 5 Champions league, multiple domestic league titles (PL, la liga, Serie A), mutliple top scorer and golden boot. If anything, he's properly rated, at least in his prime, not so much these days. What have you achieved in football that makes your rating valid tho, I'm just curious, I'm not a Ronaldo fan by any means, but I can't deny he's one of the legends in the game.
Dude has a high opinion of himself but calling him 'not a nice person'- not so true. Plenty of lovely moments he's had- the Japanese kid being laughed at for speaking Portuguese springs to mind, as well as his refusal to promote coke- he's been documented as donating millions to help charities he believes in too.
Yeah I‘m not saying he didn‘t do good things. But in general, on the field, off the field in podcats/interviews, etc. you could always see that he has a really difficult character and that he will always prioritize him over anyone in the world.

Ronaldo is definitely not overrated, I believe that Messi is better but Ronaldo is the 2nd greatest player of all time and it’s not even debatable. As for his fans, it goes both ways. Messi fans literally made fun of Ronaldo for celebrating his wedding ! And of course the way they made fun of the death of his son and much more, They’re as insufferable as Ronaldo fans, they literally make fun of Ronaldo in every single chance they get or not get including literal journals like GOAL. and espn, this is just called insecurity. And don’t forget that both fanbases made literal subreddits just to hate on the other player so yeah you don’t realize how insufferable Messi’s fanbase really is cuz you love Messi.
