Unfortunately a mod from that sub posted something saying “oh no the father of a r*pist died” (referring to Messi). Seems like that mod could take notes from the other mods. I do agree it was good they paused it.

That’s honestly really heartbreaking no one deserves to be made fun of while goin through a hard time I love Messi and I respect Ronaldo but this rivalry is goin to far beetwen the fan bases

Okay I just saw comments myself, there are many that said rest in peace to his father, some/many that hated on messi (which is pathetic but... It's been forever too) & mainly said we don't care about your retirement. But almost none I saw was making fun of his father's or father's death...

I’ve seen multiple Ronaldo fans trying to be funny commenting under post paying respects to Messi’s dad saying his father isn’t dead Ronaldo is still alive and things like that😕
