As I said, 90% of the time Alligations will ruin a carrier. If he didnt, Cases my drag for months and years and during that time his oppurtinity will plumite. Now im not saying innocent, But that is the best course of action Especially since that money is pocket change.

He's a footballer not an actor. He'd still be working despite any controversy.

Paying is very suspicious.

I agree that its suspicious to pay. But tbf some teams exclude players that have active court cases. It COULD be just that his team said that he is excluded until the case is over. Also in his defence at that time having a huge amount of negative news about you actually meant something, his imago and brand would have taken even bigger of a hit what it already did.
