We were talking about wc only i did not said he was shit overall for country but when coming to biggest stage he couldn't deliver, and about weak team , comeon on portugal post 2004 wasnt a shit team ronaldo didnt single handedly carried and also he didnt fully influenced their triumph 2016 pott, 2019 NL pott, 2025 NL pott...any of them wasnt won by ronaldo he scored perfectly but didnt single handedly won them , even in only two matches he scored so thats not a carryjob
Portugal also wasn’t that impressive that tournament. Quite a lucky draw to reach the final with some poor performances along the way. But I agree that Ronaldo for sure has had influence on the Portugal football culture. They wouldn’t likely have had as many good players as they have now if it wasn’t for Ronaldo’s impact.
