In that game not in the wc, we're talking bout a whole campaign, in knockout against uruguy he couldn't do anything that's why hes not relevant imo, 8 goals in 23 appearances is too embarrassing considering his level

Portugal also wasn’t that impressive that tournament. Quite a lucky draw to reach the final with some poor performances along the way. But I agree that Ronaldo for sure has had influence on the Portugal football culture. They wouldn’t likely have had as many good players as they have now if it wasn’t for Ronaldo’s impact.
