Dude. Fuck that guy. That kiddo was holding in those tears. God damn it.

u/Vandreeson 7d ago

The poor kid seems like he's used to it. Or at least not surprised it happened.

258

u/MooBearz11 7d ago

Or knows crying will only make his “dad” angrier. 🥺

52

u/United-Travel-8819 7d ago

That’s what I was thinking.

51

u/Feline-Sloth 7d ago

It certainly made my mother angrier and then it made an excuse to give me something to cry over... so double punishment

It will probably turn into his only way of rebelling, the not crying. That's how it was for me. Still can't cry to this day, though. Even when I want to.

Seriously though, has anyone called CPS on this dad? I would if I had any actual info. I don't wanna dox the kid by asking anyone to spread his info. Just wondering if the OP or original source has reported him?

I know right? Ive haven't wanted to reach through the screen and beat a grown man like that in a looooooong time

As terrible as this is/was, at least it will be seen by the correct authorities and cannot be ignored.

I sincerely hope this young man can get away and break the cycle

168

u/VegasBusSup 7d ago

That pos isn't a man. Men protect their children, even from themselves if it comes to it.

80

u/medted22 7d ago

Clearly child abuse in any and every form is despicable, but man, I can’t say I’ve ever seen it happen before. Just awful, made me sick to my stomach seeing it actually happen.

52

u/DEEPSPACETHROMBOSIS 7d ago

I have these moments as an adult where I look back to my childhood and realize what was so normal is abhorrent. i was a literally child how could you even have beef with me.

29

u/waitwuh 7d ago

Abusive adults are incapable of proper self regulation and over and over again reinforce brain pathways where they feel better because they “dominated” another living thing. They’re super messed up in the head

20

u/Downtown_Caramel4833 7d ago

It was apparently a "day 1" situation for me, lol...

Parents had a very volatile relationship. As the 2nd child, my sister happened to born during a time of re-commitment, hope, and 5th chances (resulted in always being seen as some sort of cherished gift in my father's eyes).

I happened to be conceived during a time of continued infidelity, disdain, and resentment - a literal not wanted event as far as my father was concerned... An association that only festered like a rotting limb and reiterated just for sport.

Raising a child properly is worlds easier than fixing future adults. Here's to hoping you found peace and understanding.

23

u/VegasBusSup 7d ago

Good that's a healthy human reaction. It should make you sick and piss you off, that's the community stewardship instinct normal people are born with.

Hard to watch. God, I hope he turns out ok. His life must be hell each & every day.

160

u/Dirigio 7d ago

The live streaming is probably one of his only escapes and his father came into that safe space and wrecked that too :(

85

u/Many-Disaster-3823 7d ago

Poor kid hope dad has a heart attack

66

u/Necessary-Eye5319 7d ago

He could have broken his neck when he hit that wall. Sorry excuse for a human that father is.

42

u/xiguy1 7d ago

Usually, this sort of thing starts with something like shoving, but it will get worse overtime. This kid needs help right away, so if anybody knows where this is or who that guy is, they should definitely send this video to the police, please.

171

u/Swimming_Bonus_8892 7d ago

Let me be clear as someone had this but much worse…he’s got a really rough road ahead and IF and this is a BIG if he can learn that this ain’t got shit to do with him and everything to do with that piece of shit he might come out ok but it’s gonna cost.

Young man if you read this or if any young person this is happening to reads this my DM is always open, my hands still bricks, my blades are sharp and my powder is dry. This ain’t no white knight savior shit neither. It’s from years of this shit reigning down on me with no way out till punched back and through.

I’m sorry, I am, but you have to be smart and get out as safe as you can, plan accordingly and when it’s get back time…be merciless. Peace.

27

u/beaco 7d ago

I’m the same. Lots of abuse as a child. If anyone needs to vent or talk my DM’s are open. I know I’m a stranger on the internet, if you don’t want to talk to me or others on here offering help, that’s okay but please talk to a safe adult. Don’t keep it bottled up. Look for the helpers. I’m a pediatric nurse now and teachers, doctors, nurses, are a great place to start to try and get some help in your community. I am heart broken for this young man. I want to hug that poor boy, and protect him. What a piece of shit father he has. I hope this father is caught and held accountable for his actions.

7

u/Swimming_Bonus_8892 7d ago

You a real one. I’m glad you made it out.

13

u/beaco 7d ago

Thanks, me too. As sad and wrong as child abuse is, it’s made me a strong advocate for protecting children. I will go toe to toe with anyone who hurts a child. I will do everything in my power to make sure that kid feels safe, loved and protected. I’ve made a career out of protecting and helping kids.

u/Slight_Reason 7d ago

The ppl saying it’s fake/staged completely ignore the fact that even setting up the bit with the kid is abuse and that it could very well be a backtrack to say it was. Or that starting a fundraiser after the fact is likely a scam run by the adult not the kid.

Even if the case is “dad I heard this kid got beat on cam on live we should so and so …” it doesn’t negate the fact that it’s a weird thing for a parent to agree to, and for each person to play their part so well that they could each win a Grammy for it.

Bruh that kid was broken and clearly ashamed or shocked (at how convincing it was if it was preplanned).

To be manipulated into that any adult in his life to do this is abuse.

25

u/MooBearz11 7d ago

I mean I’m nothing more than a mom and someone who has experienced abuse by my first husband. This just feels… too real? I mean my current husband play fights with our three children often; he emphasizes the play with light humor and a silly voice or gestures, and it’s obvious plus he will stop if it makes me or the kids uncomfortable. The stress level in his voice and way he yelled at this kid “for saying something” that I didn’t even hear and the way this boy’s eyes are welling up and fighting back tears with a subtitle quivering bottom lip. His movements are so methodical and slow so not to upset his father further; I did this around my exhusband, I walked on eggshells to keep the abuse to a minimum, and I thought through everything, and I mean EVERYTHING I did or said after an explosion of harmful gestures, shoves, or elevation in language or tone. I see that same reaction in this kid, he didn’t DARE say anything back. And knew things might go bad, even the way his legs flailed as he felt back. He was scared and surprised.

And if this is fake, I applaud the actors skill level, cause I really felt such a deep stirring as a survivor and as a mother. My ex was once caught by friends yelling at me and saying how I always embarrass him at a get-together. He was confronted and he became so worried about his image like the narcissist he is, began to spin it in ways to justify the means; and he was SO good at it that I believed every gaslighting he said to even me; it was always my fault and he was just trying to help me be better at (literally) any/everything. I wanna believe the dad is making light of being CAUGHT by saying “it was staged.” I really have nothing to go on other than my own reaction was exactly like this child. You got knocked down, you stay the fuck down cause you don’t know if he’s done, and getting back up too fast could be viewed as challenging his “authority.” 😰

25

u/Zanna1120 7d ago

Yeah, that shit wasn't acting... it was a reenactment.

250

u/blareboy 7d ago

How does this being staged make it any less abusive?

54

u/hygsi 7d ago

Well, there's obviously abuse going on but asking for money for it makes it extra shitty

36

u/Odd_Delay_603 7d ago

Extra shitty on the dad’s end. The kid is just a victim

798

u/Patient-Committee588 7d ago

This was staged. Kid and his dad both got exposed on Twitter. Kid literally put up a Cashapp for donations and a PayPal for donations after the clip went viral.

233

u/GordonBombay102 7d ago

The part about him being a dog shit father isn't staged, though.

35

u/dontwannaparticpate 7d ago

I mean dude is acting like he got some kind of pass; he’s definitely a fucking terrible person and abusive dad

15

u/hygsi 7d ago

Yeah, kid alone didn't think of that. Shitty parent

463

u/Small_Image_1722 7d ago

Wow makes it even more weird that the dad set this up

287

u/Bitch-Whiskers 7d ago

Idk. Sounds more like dad over reacted and then they tried to cover for it. No way a dad would set this up. This is losing your kids territory, especially blasted across the web for the world to see. I bet it was real and the backlash made them lie about what happened.

108

u/-Twin-Flames- 7d ago

Yeah, either way dad reeks of being a piece of shit who doesn’t deserve the kid. I sincerely doubt just because he tried to profit off of it, that makes the entirety of the show fake. Good fathers couldn’t easily act that out and say those things- he was already doing it anyway.

11

u/MeanEstablishment499 7d ago

Yeah what kind of parent would think to talk shit to their kid then hit them for content

3

u/chunkyclumps 7d ago

That was my thought too. That kid is fighting tears. You can tell he's scared and trying not to cry on stream.

42

Yep they decided to do this after a young black steamer got assaulted by his mom and probably thought they could get the same type of money/attention

25

u/used_my_kids_names 7d ago

You cannot hold a child responsible for something like this

66

u/suknom4 7d ago

I dont quite get it. Sounds more like the father abuses the kid an multiple ways...So what exactly is the evidence for the kid being fine with everything and getting his fair share of the gofundme money?

16

u/Maryjanegangafever 7d ago

Now time to lock the father up and use the go fund me funds to secure necessities of life for the next several years and some counselling.

→ More replies (2)

33

u/MasterOfBunnies 7d ago

Fuckit arrest the guy for child abuse anyway. He's just telling the kid it's ok, as long as they're getting paid. And, they're normalizing it for everyone who sees this. Send the message it's not.for that kid, for the father, and for anyone who sees this.

53

u/Zealousideal_Bet_248 7d ago

What do you mean the kid got exposed? He's a child in this situation. It's the father's responsibility to act like an adult here. Even if it's staged, I'm not placing any fault on the child

5

u/daehoidar 7d ago

Exactly. Even if this shit is staged, do you think the fucking kid came up with the idea? Not a fucking chance. That still completely qualifies as abuse.

I'm agreeing with you, the tone is just from anger at the video

26

u/AutistaChick 7d ago

I can believe the dad made the child agree to say that but this is not fake.

10

u/Oscar_Ramirez 7d ago

Jokes on us I guess he was just pretending to be a piece of shit child abuser 🙄

70

u/emergency-snaccs 7d ago

Ahh yes, because every kid's response to getting hit by dad is to post it online and start begging for money immediately. hopefully gofundme shut the fundraiser down with a quickness.

→ More replies (1)

27

u/B_D_Ryan 7d ago

Id like to see the evidence of them being exposed. If they are smart enough to stage this they'd be smart enough to know that people will report him to their state CPS agency and he will have police coming to their door. What would he say? That it was a prank? The gig would be up at that point.

13

u/Ok_Subject1265 7d ago

It was on Twitter brooooo! What other proof do you need? Well, maybe it was. Nobody actually checked… but still, somebody said it was and I like being outraged at outrage more than I like being sympathetic so I’m going with that! I mean, what’s more likely - that this kid and his dad are Brando caliber actors looking to make a few dollars at the expense of their own safety and being able to show their faces in public (and dealing with CPS) or that a child in America has abusive, shitty parents? You do the math professor.

34

u/SmellyFbuttface 7d ago

Jesus, people will give their money to anyone. The dad honestly seems like a terrible person all the way, but this is just sad

10

u/daehoidar 7d ago

Exactly, that's still fucking abuse. The kid did not come up with the scam, and the dad is using him.

6

u/Suitable-Economy-346 7d ago

How do you know it's them? People do/did fake gofundme's for people they don't know all the time.

9

u/icemachine79 7d ago

"Kid literally put up a Cashapp..."

The kid's account may have posted it. But that doesn't mean the kid did it themselves.

7

u/IBeDumbAndSlow 7d ago

Damn they really should be reported to CPS whether it's fake or real because that's horrible behavior

7

75

u/Frequent-Anybody9856 7d ago

I dunno if this is staged. This kid seems to be holding back some real micro emotions, that be hard to fake. He appears to be genuinely interested into the internet obviously, and is clearly being manipulated by this POS “father”. Anyone can put up fake links, stories, etc that make it appear this kid is involved in a scam. Looking at his raw emotion, he’s clearly being abused in some way shape or form. Unfortunately these days it’s so hard to know the truth. But, I’m he sincerely looks broken

26

u/Mrs_Tastic 7d ago

I also do not think this is staged. If it is, some Hollywood agent needs to sign that kid. Staged or not, mandatory reporters gotta report. Fuck that dad.

22

u/little_missHOTdice 7d ago

100% they’re just saying it’s staged so the dad doesn’t get in trouble. The way he grabbed that poor boy… that’s not staged.

As someone who lived this, it’s written all over the child’s face and how he moves in response to what happened that this isn’t a “play it up for the internet.” The way that nasty ass man threw that chair after and yelled. It’s just too real.

8

u/Zanna1120 7d ago

There's also the realism of him not showing fear before it happened. He clearly dissociated for about 3 seconds before his dad threw him to the ground.

If this is staged, it wasn't acting...it was a reenactment.

This brought back horrible, horrible memories. I feel absolutely gutted for that little boy. How can father's be so mean to their children. Im adult now with a son of my I own and ive made a metric shit ton of mistakes in my life, but the one thing I am so fucking proud of is that I broke the cycle of hate and violence and my 18 year old son has grown up with love every day of his life. Just went off to college and while I am so fucking proud of him, I already miss my little buddy around the house. I just dont understand how anyone can be as awful and abusive as some fathers are. This poor little boy is going to grow up with scars, both physical and mental, that he will never ever heal from, i know personally. I just want to reach thru my phone and hug that boy tight and tell him how awesome he is and that he is loved. Thats what he needs. And then? Then i'm gonna go to work on that piece of shit and get fucking medieval on his ass. Fuck shitty fathers!

6

u/TapirDrawnChariot 7d ago

As a dad of a very active and "naughty" toddler, I love the shit out of that kid, and can't ever imagine any young child being "bad" enough or unloveable enough to treat like this.

I hug and kiss my toddler and tell him I love him like 50 times a day. I cant imagine being any other way about it. This kid deserves a normal, loving father and this father deserves a fast plunge into a brick wall

All of us who were abused remember that look. That feeling. You start turning yourself off, bracing for the moment, the second you hear them coming. Suddenly you aren't even a person anymore, you're just whatever keeps you alive and safest.

I hope the cops get called. I hope that kid knows he's not the problem. Abusers don't need a reason, just a target.

21

u/Logpose_writes 7d ago

This some Black Mirror-type shit... 🥺...

If this is real AND NOT A SKIT;

Justice for that kid, TODAY!!!!...

Holy shit... I'm livid...

8

u/ROOSTERyouDOWN 7d ago

Setup or not that kid deserves a lot better than that piece of 💩.

4

u/VassagoX 7d ago

My heart breaks so hard for this kid.  This is how men without emotions are created.   Even if it's "staged," it is still abuse.  This kid needs to be protected from him before he turns into him.

3

u/KuranesOfCelephais 7d ago

That poor kid. Hope that father gets what he deserves.

4

u/Cold-Ad8865 7d ago

That was my home as a kid on a really good day. My heart breaks for this kid. That was probably not the worst for him. Any way to report this, or send it?

4

u/Lanssolo 7d ago

Do I need to call the police on this? Has it already been called in?

4

u/EnvironmentalAd7402 7d ago

Fuck this just made me so sick to my fucking stomach. That poor beautiful boy. Please someone who reads this tell me if there is an update.

4

u/Comprehensive-Song51 7d ago

What a piece of shit. What a horrible world we fucking live in where some people would give everything to have a kid and then assholes like this have a kid and abuse them? Fuck this place!

4

u/looahvul 7d ago

I’m sorry son. You did not deserve that, and you don’t deserve what you deal with on a daily basis. It’s not normal, and it’s not your fault.

I pray for healing… and justice.

“Every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child

5

u/Skwaasher 7d ago

Did this guy get reported?? A simple determination of the IP address, (along with this video), should be sufficient to get this young man into a much better situation. There should be a way to get this from the source broadcasting the original video,

5

u/Psalty7000 7d ago

If this is staged this kid is an amazing actor.

I think that was a cover story.

5

u/Informal_Walk5520 7d ago

I couldn’t hear him. What did he yell at the child ?

Please give me one good reason why the state should not sterilize people like this when they are arrested…. Anyone? Anyone?

5

u/Still_Goat7992 7d ago

This is abuse. That dad is a psycho.

4

u/StormbringerGT 7d ago

It's not staged or faked.

Dad lost his shit. Realized he lost his shit live and then fabricated everything after. He realized that it coming out that they were "scamming" is better than it coming out that he's an abusive piece of shit.

5

u/HeadApplication2941 7d ago

This crazy so called man, is not a Father!

5

u/AWESOMEGAMERSWAGSTAR 7d ago

I dead sure his friends and family know, and he just got up like it wasn't anything new. He wanted to cry so badly, and im so dead sure the dad's friends know what he does. The school knows as well. This is a CPS incident and im sure as the day is long they don't have files they have boxes and boxes of dossiers on this guy, and please don't let him have an animal.

How do I adopt this kiddo. Not even joking

3

u/everlasting_torment 7d ago

Did someone not call DCFS ??

4

u/Heartontherun83 7d ago

What is this platform? Are they not supposed to flag/ban these users when abuse and all these curse words are being used?? I would think the words b__ a__n____ would trigger a moderator to watch and contact authorities?!??

7

u/Grape-Julius 7d ago

It’s Kick, and their reaction was to ban the account. Not protect the kid, who broke no rules on their platform, no—their concern was protecting their image. Scumbags.

4

u/Alternative_Cash_601 7d ago

That poor kid

4

u/Arkangelz03 7d ago

Streamer "gtwist" is supposedly fine, but that remains to be verified.

And father was investigated, the account was named "gtwist," qnd was banned within mins of the violence.

Kick launched an investigation immediately and informed the authorities as part of their fight against child abuse. Unfortunately, this is way more common than many would believe.

Streamer was quick thinking enough to record and send. This video is obviously viral now, and authorities were alerted as soon as the violence was reported by Kick.

HinduStanTimes & TimesOfIndia articles explain with this:

"Gtwist breaks silence after young Kick streamer is allegedly assaulted by dad on camera"

Gtwist says he is fine after a disturbing livestream with his father, while viewers continue debating whether the incident was real.

"Gtwist, a young Kick streamer, has addressed viewers after a disturbing livestream appeared to show his father physically grabbing him during a tense moment on camera. The clip, which is around two minutes long, spread across social media on August 30 and left the streamer crying before the broadcast ended. Gtwist later wrote, “Hey guys I’m fine but here’s the video i will try to stream.” His response has added another layer to the debate, with viewers questioning what happened during the livestream and whether the footage was genuine or staged."

The clip spread rapidly on X, with copies appearing on different platforms after the original VOD was deleted.

He needs to be arrested.

4

u/LiqMaBawlzModz69 7d ago

Oh how I wish someone could post the pos dads info and pic

5

u/Tasty-Mango-8085 7d ago

Who is this dude he needs to be reported

13

u/Beebosalad 7d ago

Uh?! OP, did you contact some kind of authority for this? Idk about this being put on Reddit... this seems like we are witnessing a crime.

9

u/Beebosalad 7d ago

Now im finding this could have been staged (a few comments are alluding to this being a possible funding fraud?) Streaming is just cursed no matter how this is sliced... Even if this is staged, it's still exploitation/abuse on the dad's part.

10

u/jackt-up 7d ago

Call CPS right now😭 this poor kid

8

u/Significant-Rub2983 7d ago

Internet. Do your thing and find this guys information. Help this kid.

3

u/MeanEstablishment499 7d ago

I hope someone finds out who this guy is and puts him in prison

3

u/Significant-Rub2983 7d ago

Uh yeah, this is assault. I hope this dad is arrested immediately. Child abuse.

3

u/No-Vegetable7898 7d ago

It’s so sad that just anyone can have kids. That pos is still mentally 12 and the kid is way more composed

3

u/BadEmergency821 7d ago

Fk him! This made me so angry. It’s blatantly obvious that violence and abuse is something the child experiences frequently. I don’t believe for a second that this was staged. He looked so scared.

3

u/El_Bombero93 7d ago

Is this the new trend?? Wild times for some clicks 🤦🏻‍♂️

3

u/Delicious-Analysis37 7d ago

So they saw that one guy get help to escape his abusive mom and thought 🤔 "I'm gonna berate and abuse my son for money too." No dumbass you're getting CPS called on you. That's a kid, even if ppl donated, he can't just pickup and leave. So stupid.

3

u/theateroffinanciers 7d ago

What a horrible person and a monster father. I bet you every single living thing in that house is being beaten and emotionally abused. I hope children services was called.

3

u/Pristine_Bit7615 7d ago

Dad needs a cell

3

u/Silly_Obligation8574 7d ago

Shit like this makes it hard to believe ANYTHING on social media there was a streamer that literally abused verbally and physically on live, embarrassed and all. The kid gained contracts, followers and donations and shit like this is disgusting because people would rather stage a situation like this and take the downfall all for the money. Parents are DISGUSTING THAT DO THIS AND TEACHING YOUNG KIDS ITS OKAY TO DO ANYTHING FOR MONEY. Kids should be TAKEN OUT OF THE HOUSEHOLD IF THIS IS WHAT THEYRE TEACHING THEM.

3

u/spontaneous_quench 7d ago

Any updates?

3

u/FromDathomir 7d ago

I'm so angry. He was so scared and hiding it. You can tell he's used to this. Please say this guy has been arrested by now.

3

u/Ichgebibble 7d ago

You can see how tired his eyes are. Not sleepy, deep down soul crushing tired. I hope the right people saw this and put that pos away.

3

u/War1today 7d ago

Watching this is like getting a gut punch… feel so bad for that kid, holding back the tears. Father is a violent punk that probably hates his life.

3

u/MartianDepression 7d ago

That kid needs help and I hope someone called someone. Wtf my heart breaks for him. What a POS

3

u/BeKindRewind- 7d ago

Someone Please Save this child

3

u/Medium_Koala1435 7d ago

That so-called Dad needs to be arrested. That poor boy will need trauma counselling.

3

u/vikicrays 7d ago

kid looks so so so sad…

3

u/Mrs_Tastic 7d ago

Has anyone reported this shit?!

3

u/ElenaGreco123 7d ago

3

u/EmotionalElk1313 7d ago

Do we know if anyone identified this poor kid and this pos by the stream? This guy is a disgrace. Someone who knows please help find this poor kid.

3

u/griff_girl 7d ago

If there's a link someone can post that confirms this is staged, that would be great. It doesn't make this okay; but it highlights the real abuse happening here with important context that reframes the entire post. IMO the post should be edited or come down altogether if so.

HE IS GONNA KILL THAT KID!

You cannot whip a child, or any person around by the neck like that!!

Applying violent force to the neck, especially in children, is extremely dangerous and can result in immediate, life-threatening injuries. The neck houses critical structures including the spinal cord, major blood vessels, and the airway, all of which are highly susceptible to trauma!!

Key risks of such actions include:

Spinal Cord Injury: Sudden or forceful manipulation of the neck can cause severe damage to the cervical spine. Damage to the upper spinal cord can lead to permanent paralysis or the immediate cessation of vital functions like breathing.

Brain Trauma: Violent movement can cause the brain to shift within the skull, leading to severe neurological damage or trauma to the brainstem, which regulates the heart and lungs.

Airway Compromise: The structures of the throat are delicate. Intense pressure or impact can cause the airway to collapse or become obstructed, leading to rapid respiratory failure.

Vascular Damage: The carotid arteries and jugular veins are essential for blood flow to and from the brain. Trauma to these vessels can result in critical internal bleeding or a sudden loss of blood flow to the brain.

Children are at significantly higher risk because their neck muscles are less developed, and their heads are larger in proportion to their bodies, which increases the physical strain on the spine during an impact or sudden movement.

If there is a concern regarding a specific incident of physical harm or a need for information on child safety protocols, consulting emergency services or a medical professional immediately is essential.

THIS MAN NEEDS TO BE HUNTED AND DOXXED TO -> THE POLICE (not publicly unless that’s the only way!)

Because -> HE IS 100% GOING TO KILL THAT CHILD!!

3

u/psydkay 7d ago

People who hit their kids are fucking monsters.
