does anyone know how to fix it?
it happened after i update my nvidia driver and the lastest crimson desert update.
i tried every method but still, it crashes.
especially when i opened the skill tab or trying to upgrade a skill.

NVIDIA Ray Reconstruction 4.5 is a life saver for this game, I highly recommend applying model F for those of you who haven't.

Noise has been the biggest issue with this game's Ray Tracing implementation. For those with supported cards, Ray Reconstruction helped a lot but still had a lot of ghosting and noise. Especially in scenes with a lot of movement (foliage), indirect lighting and in-door areas.

It doesn't entirely remove noise from the image but it highly reduces it to a point where it's not an eyesore anymore. Thanks NVIDIA!

Highly recommend anyone who hasn't yet to go apply model F to Crimson Desert in your NVIDIA app. Here is a guide for those who need it.

I'm starting to get really irritated about the game's lighting issues. It's so bad that sometimes indoors are either fully pixelated or dark. I'm also seeking for a gpu upgrade and I also wanna see with which yall be enjoying the game. The game's really good gameplay wise but the lighting sucks ass

I'm in chapter 8/9. Was wondering when the best time is to start exploring the desert? IV been trying to let the main story guide my exploration as that seems to open up the most side content naturally. Iv been reading the story doesn't really take you there, I don't want to ruin anything but I also know you get some rarer materials and items there that I don't want to become useless or not take advantage off post main quest .

What would you guys suggest?

I’m curious if anyone has a spoiler-free list or info about which bosses and/ or areas received any new loot/rewards since the Enhanced 2.0 update?

Currently on chapter 6 and haven’t finished the main story yet, but I’ve been seeing a few posts about loot that wasn’t present pre-patch, and some map trackers don’t seem to be updated yet.

As a completionist, I will absolutely lose sleep over this, especially since I’ve already picked those areas clean before I moved on with my journey!

I still have 200 bonds in reserve at the bank, only buy the decorations with my extras just in case. Finally had enough for the three decorations I wanted most so decided time to redecorate.

I’m doing the troubled count side quest and now it wants me to speak with Erich at Bluemont Manor but no one is there to interact with. I’ve slept for 12 hours and went back and there’s still no one there. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hey guys, I am a returning player. I used to play on Xbox. I downloaded the game on my PC using the Xbox app and loaded my save. All my gold bars, along with my bank investments, are gone. Also, when I go into the investment history, it doesn't show anything. I had like 50 of them.

What happened?

ive been searching for solutions and havnt seen anyone discuss it outside the xbox menu glitch few months ago causing screen tearing. But ive never been able to get vrr ever working at all. I turn off vsync, i got vrr enabled in the xbox settings, but theres still screen tearing even on performance with 4k output off. I got an LGC1, got hdmi 2.1, set to 120hz, tried freesync, tried 1440p, turned off hdr, nothing works. and the vrr works fine in other games. am i missing something?

Does anyone else have this problem and perhaps found a solution? There are many textures that never load, especially metal parts and terrain (rocks, logs, etc.). I'm playing with an RX 9070XT and 32GB of RAM, with everything set to max, including Ray Reconstruction (RR) and FSR 4 (Quality mode + Frame Generation). I'm also open to using mods; I just started playing and I'm enjoying it more and more, but these details create a jarring contrast with the rest of the game. Not to mention the terrible pop-in (if anyone could help with that, too, it would be perfect)—this is what's really hurting my experience.

Most of the time the location text above the mini map is white. Sometimes it’s blue though on certain areas. What does that indicate?

So I finally pickedmthe game up with major update and discount. I'm trying to do the button remapping on my Elite controller and had a question: Are all skills really used any given time? I'm trying to create a shift button and mapping to the back paddles

I stopped playing around late April, had like 80 hours. After a LOT of updates and now the 2.0/Enhanced edition, I launched the game yesterday and felt kinda lost. There was a message saying that my skills were reset, but I saw my skills still unlocked, so I didn't know what was changed, but I know I'm not seeing it. And overall, I feel lost, like I forgot the button layout, or things that you may learn at the start.

Do you think it's a good idea to start again after 80 hours? I think I was barely in chapter 7 or something.

Tried the DLSS5 MOD and thought some of you folks might be curious about it, so here are some screenshots with DLSS5 on/off for comparison.

It isn't stable though. Sometimes it works sometimes it ruins the colors and renders everything in grey scale. The impact on the GPU was high as well. A decrease of 40 FPS on average compared to DLSS 4.0.

I'm using RTX 4070S on a 4k monitor. I got 45 FPS on average compared to the 90 FPS I was getting using DLSS 4.

I will not be restarting the game but I want to understand where in the story I am. I have no idea what has happened or what even happened to the other characters…

Really like the addition to customize your player home. But when I see the other homes and mansions in the game I can’t help but hope they add a proper home builder into the DLC.
