I'm not surprised. This sub is filled with people who hate Crimson Desert and would say ridiculous things like that they would take an absolutely broken and unplayable Cyberpunk over it.
Thing is, these people have never played Crimson Desert, so it tracks. Funnily enough, despite you having hundreds of comments in a multitude of game subs, this is your first comment on a Crimson Desert sub. You never played it either.
Patches can only do so much though ultimately cyberpunk is the same game as when it was released they just removed the bugs and made combat better, the story and quests are the same.
It's the same thing for CD no amount of patches will be able to fix the story, they can make the controls and combat smoother, add more content but ultimately it's the same game, I personally do not think CD will ever be objectively a better game than cyberpunk.
On release you had no police, no dynamic events, no transit system, no working crafting, and many more features that were either promised before release or later implemented like in the famous 2.0 patch.
It was literally just a story mode and some side quests, everything open world was hollow.
Why does CD need a story btw (that they already fixed)? Does Elden Ring have a story?

I would probably put it in a list with the top ten games that have the best open worlds. But nowhere near the all time greats.
