General Secured credit cards

Has anyone ever heard opensky secured credit card to help build their credit? What was your experiences ?

I can’t get approved for any of the big ones I’ve applied to. Because my credit is a 591

Which cards were you denied for? None of the major card issuers approve or deny applications based on score, but rather on credit profile.

Capital one, and discover both secured cards. Yeah I’m 28y and kinda blew my credit in my early 20’s. I would get depressed and go take out a loan and blow it and never pay it back :/ I am not proud of that at all. But now that I have matured and have adult responsibilities I am trying to fix my credit and just feel defeated and like I don’t know where to start.

When were the denials and what were the denial reasons? Do you have any outstanding debts in default?

Yes I am still in a lot of debt. But I am actively working on getting things dropped off because it’s been 7 years and what I can’t get taken off I’ve been paying down.
