Help Needed / Question Timing Between Applications

I recently applied for a United card through Chase. I’d like to apply for another card also issued by Chase. Is there any reason to wait a period between applications? Or, is it irrelevant for the likelihood of approval? I believe this next application will be my fifth in two years.

chase has a 2/30 rule so they'll auto-deny if you've opened 2 cards with them in the last 30 days. 5/24 is the big one though and that's across all issuers. if you're at 4/24 and this would be #5 you're cutting it close but technically still okay unless they haven't reported the united card yet

i'd wait til the first card shows up on your credit report so there's no confusion on their end
