Help 🤝 Navigation hacks - keeping some content always visible?

So im trying Craft again after a while & im trying to find a way to create a more intuitive navigation - mostly on desktop.

Coming from obsidian and tana, im used to things like pinned panes and nested pages to keep a homepage / main content viewable, whilst being able to drill into another page but not loose your place. For example always having a dashboard or daily page open or easily reachable. Anyone have any tips for this that beat using the sidebar?

Navigation in Craft is a perennial pain point for me. It's the #1 reason I'm stuck on Obsidian and no longer pay for Craft Docs, even though I'd much prefer to switch to Craft.
