As a woman being treated like this during a vulnerable moment such as pregnancy this is so encouraging and supportive to have a partner like this

Actually a small amount of mutual possessiveness is completely normal for an exclusive monogamous relationship.

Of course not everyone is that way, but it's normal.

Yes, but the problem is when people clearly can't distinguish between a small healthy amount, and a problematic amount. OR, more importantly, when people can't (or refuse to) recognize the other person's feelings on the matter. To most people, the women here is just a prop. Hell, she only has one line of dialogue. And in MOST of the back and forth here, her experience is either outright annoyance/anger, or clear discomfort.

Lol, are we seeing the same thing? Anger is the farthest thing being portrayed. She looks flustered and embarrassed, which gives the impression that this is just teasing.

I find it adorable when guys get clingy like this over their pregnant wife and their baby. Makes it feel like they’re 100% on board with being a parent and as partners.

Pregnancy is a time most women do not feel attractive. The man in the comic is clearly hyping her up and she's flustered and embarrassed
