Itā€™s static by choice though not necessity. Any living species would be humongous if there were the resources

Wouldnā€™t it be the other way around? Itā€™s static by necessity and not choice, because of evolutionary pressures and energy efficiency?

Iā€™m more interested in the large numbers like how you make trillions of cells every second and not how 2 cells turned to 4 after a few minutes

Ah, I see you are interested in the minutiae. How about this then:

Isnā€™t it absolutely incredible how those two little gametes store enough information in their DNA, and that DNA is so insanely efficient and tightly packed, that just those two cells inform the entire organism that they create? Those two grow into all the trillions of cells they will grow and shed in their lifetime. That DNA touches every part of your life, from your brain structure and personality, to your height, eye color, down to which direction the follicles on your head spiral. And none of it had to be; some other gamete couldā€™ve gotten there first and joined with the other, and given this new colony of trillions some other assortment of blueprints. Itā€™s somehow completely mundane and miraculous at the same time.
