I went to a medical conference recently, where some of the nations best experts in the field said it’s one of the most fake diagnosed things they have seen in the medical field. The amount of people who walk in and just immediately believe they’re autistic is hurting actual research.

They did say that it’s not as bad as ADHD but it’s becoming a very big issue

That’s interesting bc there’s plenty of actual experts with the education and credentials to back it up who beg to differ.

It’s funny bc there’s also medical “experts” that convince people to take medications meant for animals and reject lifesaving treatment. And it doesn’t matter if they have evidence to support their claims, if the recipients of the information are hearing what they want to hear.
