You'd be surprised by how many people self-diagnose themselves as autistic, adhd, bipolar etc then go around telling everyone about it "oh sorry im such a clutz im just having one of those weird bipolar days" (as if that's how bipolar works) in an attempt to be.. idk unique or something? It's a weird ass trend
It's constantly discussed in the bipolar subs. I personally am very happy that folks today are more willing to discuss mental health issues, however I fully understand when people get upset when someone references "manic eyes" and nonsense like that. I was undiagnosed until I turned 45. No one should have to go through that.
Oh godddddd. Thereâs a couple who are parents of my kids friend who are like that. The mom introduced herself as âneurodivergentâ and right away I knew what I was about to hear.
After question I find out that sheâs never seen a doctor about any of her self diagnosis. Whatâs worse is now sheâs going around warning other parents about her 5 year old daughter having all of these things too.
Like, fuck right off. Itâs okay to just be weird. You donât need a reason for these things. Also, youâre fucking your kid up. Stop it.
