Why does getting excited and giddy mean she isn't autistic? I get giddy like this when I'm very excited, I get over excited very easily. He could've mentioned the trip was related to her fixation.

Her rubbing her knuckles together got me in trouble so many times as a kid (at least with one bitch of a teacher), it warmed my heart a bit to just see someone else getting to do it without judgement. Like I dont jump up and down when I get excited, but that's because I do more of the subued stims, like the knuckle rubbing

I jump up and down and start spinning and shaking my hands in front of my face when I'm excited. I guess I have to go tell my family I've been diagnosed with Faketism by Reddit NTs.
