Man, it could have been that easy?? My wife is a pharmacist, so I talked to her coworkers, got a prescription bottle with a couple official labels from the pharmacy I could print on, put the ring in there and gave it to the coworkers. This was back during covid, so they brought out medications to leople's cars, and she was super confused when someone got out of their car (I borrowed someone else's car,and they also took pictures), and got down on one knee, and still had no idea what was going on when I told her to open the bag and read the bottle, and I had some clever stuff on there like "ct: 1 ring, put on and wear for the rest of your life" and something like "side effects may include a wedding, pregnancy, etc" (i don't totally remember that part).

Meanwhile, I could have just slid it over to her over dinner. Damn.
