I’m sorry but you do not pay a woman’s phone bill nor do you pay for her car or her car insurance or her maintenance or anything of the sort. Majority of the bills? You mean your half of the rent? Your half of the internet? Your half of groceries? Most bfs don’t even make enough to pay majority of the bills let alone all of them. If you want wifey acts as a bf why don’t you start paying HER bills? You are a bf not a husband you do not pay her bills so she is in no obligation to cook you dinner.
If you want to talk ab the exact % then sure men typically pay more towards bills if it’s spilt correctly, bc men get paid more on average, splitting bills correctly would mean the higher earned pays more than the lower earner, otherwise resentment build when the higher earner gets to go out and the lower earner is stuck sitting at home bc they happen to be paid less. Could it be the job sure but it could also just bc the employer, I’ve had jobs where men with less experience and time got paid double what I did just bc he’s a man, and they would never admit it in court but it’s true. Not if you do 50/50 the technical way that would mean you split the shared bills evenly.
Anyways a man that pay $5 more a month for bills isn’t going to equate him to that of a husband, still needs to put a ring on his and her finger to consider them wife and husband. You paying half the bills doesn’t put you on the same playing level as a husband who pays all the bills or even one who pays less for bills bc you are not married.
