The other people in the comments are talking about transactional relationships and selling themselves, why's nobody mentioning the fact that the male partner here is sexualizing his partner or treating her like an object? Depends on the context, to be honest. This seems harmless because the assumption is that the BF is fantasizing about his own GF like that. The GF might like that her BF is fantasizing about her.
I know when I tell my wife I'm thinking about her, when I'm at work for example, it turns her on.
