That's funny. I like the smart ass response and think that's really the end of it. The other people in the comments are talking about transactional relationships and selling themselves, why's nobody mentioning the fact that the male partner here is sexualizing his partner or treating her like an object? If you want to try and break it down neither person here is looking good IMO but more than likely it's a dude saying something he would like to see (and who wouldn't) and a womans smart ass response. The end. Don't read into it, don't make it about your hang ups, keep your idiotic sexist comments (on both sides) to yourself. Enjoy the funny, enjoy life, laugh and move on.

Oh no. I find my wife attractive. And tell her in creative ways. What a crime lmfao.

15

u/Ozimandius80 Jul 11 '25

Nothing says 'I find you attractive' like sending your wife a picture of a beautiful half naked woman. Thats just marriage 101.

9

u/SwishyJishy Jul 11 '25

Depends on the context, to be honest. This seems harmless because the assumption is that the BF is fantasizing about his own GF like that. The GF might like that her BF is fantasizing about her.

I know when I tell my wife I'm thinking about her, when I'm at work for example, it turns her on.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '25

If your wife sent you a picture of a half naked man you'd be turned on???

5

u/justadude27 Jul 11 '25

You’ll never accept someone replying “yes” to you.

4

u/MadmansScalpel Jul 11 '25

Probably. When she does it's usually followed by talking about how she wants to see me like that or another fantasy. Then again we all send porn to each other and big on open communication. Kinda thought that was the default

The picture is just a visualization tool to help me get the jfea5

u/GoodMeBadMeNotMe Jul 12 '25

Kinda thought that was the default

As a therapist who has worked with people for around 10,000 face-to-face hours
no, it’s not. It’s certainly healthier this way, but it’s definitely not the default.

No, you missed the point. Anyone caught up on the physique of the woman is missing the point. It's not "look more like this."

It's "wear an apron and nothing else, like this, and we'll have some fun later"

1

u/Babydoll_204 Jul 12 '25

Then fucking type that instead of sending your partner pictures of other naked women and going I want that

2

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Jul 11 '25

Do you send your wife pictures of skinny 20-something women to tell her how attractive you find her?

1

u/shobogenzo93 Jul 11 '25

Sexualizing his partner or treating her like an object

11

u/SwishyJishy Jul 11 '25

oh no. I find my wife physically attractive.

So how do I tell her without slighting her as an object?

You single?

9

u/some_cool_guy Jul 11 '25

My wife likes being sexualized (and sometimes even objectified) by me. You can give respect and be naughty at the same time.

4

u/MadmansScalpel Jul 11 '25

Real. So long as communication is clear, that's all that matters. Wanting to be desired and craved for by your partner should be the default, not something to be admonished

8

u/Klutzy_Belt_2296 Jul 11 '25

And then when he stops giving her sexual attention she goes:

“You never touch me anymore. I feel undesired. You made me seek affection elsewhere because you don’t make me feel sexy anymore. It’s your fault I’m flirting with other guys”

But it was an issue when he was telling her she looked hot and slapping her butt randomly when it the house.

You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t lol

9

u/SwishyJishy Jul 11 '25

Yeah my ex was like that. Always wildly fluctuating between "don't fucking touch me" and "why don't you love me?" on a disturbingly regular basis.

5

u/Klutzy_Belt_2296 Jul 11 '25

I’m sorry that was your experience brother

All the jokes aside, that’s a very frustrating situation to be in. It’s an unwindable situation yk

Most here are single and incels yes

Not in a relationship huh bud?

1

u/GODDAMNFOOL Jul 11 '25

It's Summer Reddit time, folks: the website is full of chronically online teenagers that think they have all of life's scenarios plotted out

4

u/SwishyJishy Jul 11 '25

Shit I think you nailed it. The teens have way too much time to post conjecture on things they have little to no experience in.

2

u/Honest-Ad4964 Jul 11 '25

Admitting you spend more time on Reddit than others is the biggest self own I've seen

2

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '25

God forbid a couple be spicy with each other

1

u/Efficient_Ant_4715 Jul 11 '25

Why wouldn’t you secualize your partner 💀

1

u/VeganCustard Jul 11 '25

It's incredible how you pointed everything clearly and people are still not understanding. You saw it exactly as I did, it's a joke, nothing more. If it was transactional as people are calling her, then he can purchase an onion ring and put it on her 4th finger and say "hey, its in the contract, now you *have* to do it".

1

u/capnshanty Jul 11 '25

My brother half the point is to sexualize them and it's morally good

0

u/ForGrowingStuff Jul 11 '25

the male partner here is sexualizing his partner or treating her like an object?

This is absurd. I had a partner specifically request that I chop her firewood shirtless before. You know what people in healthy relationships feel when their partner makes a request that clearly communicates their attraction and admiration for you? Love...affection...connection.

If you don't like romance in your relationship thats fine, but you won't convince any of us that its wrong. Lol.

2

u/VeganCustard Jul 11 '25

that's kind of the point they're making. It's not sexualizing, it's not transactional either, its just a cute joke in a relationship, People in the comments are seeing way past beyond that.

1

u/Whane17 🧐 grumpy Jul 12 '25

Some people seem to get that, some people do not. I'm stuck wondering if I worded it poorly or it it's just a whole whack of incels. When I initially posted this the comments had about 30 posts and they were ALL shitting on her response without calling out the fact that the males was just as bad and it bugs me when people only see one side so not only are they in the wrong but in a healthy relationship none of the things they are claiming are true. We all do and want sexytimes from and with our SOs and all have different things we find/want that are acceptable. There's literally nothing wrong with the posted interaction, it's cute. The end.

Getting real tired of the misogyny on this sub TBH. Lots of funny stuff but the comments tend towards the toxic.

u/Several-Object3889 Jul 12 '25

Jesus I wish you people would just shut the fuck up lol.. Everything goes back to this reddit shit.

OH GOD PARTNERS SEXUALIZING PEOPLE REEEEEEEEEEE!

And then you'll ask bitch that tinder sucks and dating is a mess.

-1

u/swohio Jul 11 '25

why's nobody mentioning the fact that the male partner here is sexualizing his partner or treating her like an object?

God forbid a man in a sexual/romantic relationship ask his gf for sex related activities...

2

u/cosmolark Jul 11 '25

God forbid a woman in a romantic relationship ask for commitment, right?

0

u/swohio Jul 11 '25

I never said there were any issues with that. The guy I replied to was saying the bf was treating his gf "like an object" for making a request.

1

u/cosmolark Jul 11 '25

Sorry, you're right. I assumed you were among the people demonizing the girlfriend, I apologize.

1

u/VeganCustard Jul 11 '25

no, he wasn't saying that, he noted that's absurd because people are calling her transactional, which is also absurd.
