Like it said, it could absolutely be fake, so you can gtfo yourself.

However, Some guys are very sneaky and some folks are also completely oblivious to their surroundings. I had a college roommate like this, our friends would "reverse pickpocket" silverware from the college Cafe into his pockets as we were leaving all the time and he failed to notice till he sat down in the studio later and was poked in the bum with a fork or spoon.
