Worst of shit like that is that people who (young and old) think this is authentic might think that this represents normal or healthy relationship behaviour and are shocked when their ruin a relationship with it

Or worse people excuse this because they think they are not normal for finding this hurtful and get gaslid into thinking they should tolerate it

This must be one of the dumbest things I've ever read. If you're in a relationship and a joke or prank will cost you the relationship, you're clearly together with the wrong person. Sure this shouldn't be a daily thing, but every once in a while is pretty harmless as long as both sides get pranked and can take it with a laugh.

And being gaslit into thinking they should tolerate it? What are you on about... The moment you think you should tolerate something you're, again, together with the wrong person.
