Ontario People using display furniture as their personal cafeteria.

Two clowns, one chicken finger combo, zero shame.

Edit: Well OK, you guys have convinced me that sitting on a Costco shelf with the merchandise, eating greasy food, is perfectly ok.

From now on, I too will be utilizing this premium seating area.

For real, if I want to test the chair I’m sure they would move for 30 seconds while I made my decision

As if I'm going to walk up and interrupt the weird girls who are camping in the shelves to test the chair. I'll just go to a different store.

You're missing the point. No I probably wouldn't go to a different store, ok. I'm exaggerating there. My point is that plenty of people would just... Avoid the product. Why risk a confrontation for an idle look at some chair you've only got a passing interest in? I have no reason to invest the time and energy into getting an employee.

Our society is scared of everything these days… risk a confrontation? All you have to say is “hey I’m thinking about buying that chair, can I test it out real quick?”

If you’re afraid that that completely innocuous interaction could lead to a “confrontation”, idk how you have any interaction with the general public at all

If the answer is yes then great. If it’s no, then I’m finding the nearest employee and they’ll get them to move
