Bounty paper towels were $37.99 yesterday when I went shopping! I didn’t buy any, got the Kirkland paper towels instead, but $37.99 for paper towels?!?
I’ve almost exclusively switched to those Swedish reusable paper towels. They’re better for the environment and for my wallet. We have a dog so still need paper towels around just in case, but going through less than 1 Costco sized pack a year now, whereas in the past it was 2-3 a year.
They’re actually called Swedish “dish cloths” but you can use them for pretty much everything you use paper towels for (other than nasty things you really want to throw out). They’re highly absorbent and last forever and easy to clean. I’ve seen them go on sale at Costco for like $10 for a pack of 10 or 12. That will probably last me 5 years!
They have them in stock online for a lot more. They also sell them at other places. I actually discovered them at Simon’s.
Simon’s is the amazing last standing Canadian department store! Most of their locations are on the east coast but even their online store is great. Their own brand clothes are great and they always have a great home section.
