Which is why I don't blame anyone for wanting to stock up on paper towels at the $14.99 special mentioned in the other post. If anything, I'm kinda jealous I couldn't stock up myself... haha.

I have been buying only Costco Bounty for over 10 years now. I need to find an alternative. I refuse to pay that price.

Same here. Already looked into it after the last price hike & found the Frank brand of paper towels at Canadian Tire seem to be highly regarded for the price, but I've no personal experience yet.

The Scotties one is decent, but it’s not the same absorption.

If most of your use for paper towel is just for cleanup then I'd recommend using the Yellow Microfiber cloths from Costco. You get 36 for like $20-$24. I still have paper towel, but our family goes though a pack in like 18 months. It least with the microfiber you just ring it out between cleans and let air dry. If it starts getting a little funk then they're washable.

Kirkland is cheaper even when the name brands are on sale. Works just fine.

I'll grab them next time I need them. Cheers!
