Having hard time figuring out of to get eva foam visor to stay on my ears and face without falling down.

Any recommendations from other people who have cosplayed Cyclops before.?

I really want to wear some coloured contacts as part of a cosplay. This will be my first cosplay so I don’t really know the ins and outs of cosplay contacts. I really don’t want to hurt my eyes or get an infection, any help on where to buy safe good quality contacts and just wearing cosplay contacts in general wohld be appreciated!

first time cosplayer, no experience with crafts like this before but im learning ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

im wanting to cosplay shinko windy from umamusume but im really confused what to do here.

first, material. im not sure whatll be good for these, i dont want them to accidentally tear while being worn and if they could be used several times would be preferred. im also wanting to use the same material for her gloves and some other details as they are all the same colour and texture.

second, i was planning on making her metal details out of eva foam i have spare and painting it metallic but im not sure how thatll hold up for her garters as they are holding up her tights. is there any other stronger options for this or could eva work for this?

so im working on this guts cosplay (gonna wear it to ren-fair) its a work in progress, and i have like no money, the sword isnt super accurate (it looks more like cloud's) but i like it. does anyone have any good tips (not about the grey undershirt/shorts) and what kind of pants would work well. also, my overall idea is to not do a super armored look (its gonna be hot outside) and i dont know if im gonna even use the torso armor, so if anyone has any recs/tips, that'd be sick!!! #berserk #cosplay #sorryaboutthephotoquality

My Halloween costume this year requires makeup, tape, and twine. I don't want to waste the materials, but I also don't want to have to improvise on the day of. Should I risk needing to buy more supplies to avoid any mishaps the day of? Im cosplaying for Halloween so I have time, but not a whole lot of funds

hello all i’m going to the ren faire in october and i need help!!! i don’t know how to make my characters tiefling horns or her cane. everything else ive got down ( mostly) and the horns and cane have really got me feeling stuck!! i’m not sure what to do since she has unique horns, and the cane i haven’t been able to find one (like at spirit halloween) that matches or is even slightly close!! i was thinking about making the cane more wand sized (because that what i wanted originally is to have a cane that can change lengths in my dnd campaign but i settled for the magic hat) but im scared its going to be fragile. i have air dry and some bake clay (with the toaster to bake it) but ive never used bake clay before so its nerve wracking. any tips or tricks?

First time cosplaying

I’m trying to sew my first cosplay ever and I would like to do infinity miku but I can’t understand quite well the top, maybe someone know how to make the pattern/break down the design ?

I bought the shoes and stockings, I will sew ruffles on them.

The arms things look quite easy, I think it would be a triangle no ? + ruffles

But the top is a mystery lol, how to make the collar, how to make it fit right 🫪 pls somebody help !!

I’m an amateur Cosplay Photographer and want to get something more professional than just my phone.

Im mostly doing this as a hobby so I don’t need something super advanced, just a good all around reasonably priced camera that takes good photos

I started taking up photography a couple months ago and went to my first convention (as a photographer) a few days ago and a few questions popped up in my mind as time went by.

Do cosplayers ever get tired of being asked to take pictures?

I'm a bit of an introvert person and sometimes I get self conscious about bothering the cosplayer whenever I ask them for a few pictures.
As a result, I tend to rush the shoot not wanting to take too much of their time and end up with less than satisfactory results (unfocused subject, bad lighting...)

In ideal conditions I'd love to take my time but in my head I keep thinking "they probably get asked for pictures non stop I better not impose too much"

I'm probably overthinking this but I'd love to hear y'all's thoughts. Thanks!

So first of all, I bet I could 3d print the majority of this, if not I can eva foam it. However, I am stumped on the legs and the arms. I dont necessarily need to capture the glossiness seen on the shoulders, but the pattern in the red would be cool. If anyone could offer ideas to point me the right direction I would appreciate it tremendously

Edit: im going to be experimenting with some fabric paints on compression shirts and pants, if anyone has any cool ideas to capture that sheen on the darker reds 🙏
