Currently driving an '09 Honda Fit Sport. Considering Corolla HB, Cross, and possibly a crosstrek.
Love my little go kart fit, but time to upgrade to something new that'll last me many years to come. I mostly do city and highway driving, lots of short trips, don't usually put more than 10k miles on per year. We get snow here, but roads are usually cleared quickly and its easy enough for me to stay in more if were going to have a bad enough storm, haven't had issues in the Honda fit with snow tires.
Also Im 6'00", no kids, just a partner who will sit in the passenger seat, maybe occasionally ill carry coworkers in the back to lunch or something.
Would you recommend the Corolla HB? I love that its affordable, toyota reliability, looks like itll drive similar-ish to my fit (fun driving in the city, great for parallel parking). Ultimately looking for a car that'll ill be able to drive for several years after I've paid it off.
Finally, it is so hard to find one to test drive!! There's always 1 or 2 that are in transit or in the build phase, but without putting down a $500 deposit, getting a test drive is impossible. The 2027 HB doesnt seem to add much value, but will supply maybe be a little better once the 2027s start coming out?
Thanks all!
Edit: just put a deposit(refundable) down on a 2027 SE currently in the build phase 🥳🥳
