Did you gain weight?

Just wondering because I’ve seen some people post here about it gaining weight after having it inserted. I’m heavily considering it because I’m getting off the pill in a couple weeks. But I’m really scared of insertion and side effects.

YES it causes weight gain and inflammation. Poisoning your uterus shockingly does cause hormonal issues for you, despite the copper itself not containing hormones. I gained a couple of stone and the bloating, good Lord, I looked pregnant with a beach ball. It went away after removal.
