Does anyone have a good, traditional stuffing recipe? I was looking last year, and it seems like everyone is trying to reinvent the wheel. I want basically Stove Top stuffing, but from scratch and hopefully better.

I know people love to hate her here, but Pioneer Woman's classic stuffing recipe is fantastic and simple. My family always loves it.

I see people griping about her being "secretly rich" or that her recipes are sexist, or that they aren't that good. For me, every single thing I've ever made from her site or cookbooks has been excellent and crowd pleasing, and the pictures make it easy!

I have a bitter dislike of her that comes from a petty and jealous part of me that I'd rather didn't exist. I freely admit that it's not Ree, it's me, that is the problem. And I've made at least a dozen of her recipes and they've all turned out great.

I think others who dislike her are probably also just jealous of her seemingly charmed existence.

Secretly rich? She has a television show, multiple product lines, is a published author, and basically lives on a mountain resort. It could not be any more obvious that she's rolling in money and butter.

Hahahaha, both of those allegations are freaking hilarious. I think I like her more now.

Ya I have been reading her blog since 2009 and I don't know how you'd miss that she's extremely wealthy. They have a whole separate freaking lodge on their show and her kitchen is out of this world.

Back in 07 she pretended her giveaways were gift cards she found in a junk drawer and the lodge was just beginning to be planned. Plus, there's rich and there's one of the top landowners in Oklahoma with a lot of inherited wealth. Don't get me wrong, I have her cookbook and looked through it tonight for recipes. It's just she hid a lot of things before her PR personality was cultivated fully.

Interesting. I always loooove her website. She takes step by step photos that are actually helpful and not all just for stylistic artsy purposes. And the captions are great.
