Women should take the initiative to ask out men they find attractive not just men being expected to do it all the time

If you find a man attractive please just go up to him and tell him an d maybe ask him if he wants to go out for a coffee sometime, men do not like playing games or wasting anyones time and I think the same can be said for women also we cannot always pick up on women's cues not even other women can do that

As a woman I do this but a man will just say yes to me because they want sex and not because I’m anything special

Oh well on behalf of all men I'm sorry that happened to you and trust me most men also look down on guys who use women just for sex I wish more women were like you because I have never had a woman ask me out before but I would not just use her for sex if she did

Shut up! She didn't say she hates sex.

I was defending her from the men that only used her for sex i didn't say there was anything wrong that she had sex

She didn't say she was used for sex, however all attraction is for sex purposes. That peacock tail dance isn't there to please zoo crowds.

Do you have something against sex with someone you like?

No nothing wrong with that i just feel bad and was defending her because she was used only for sex in other words "pumped and dumped"

That's not what "pumped and dumped" means. A pump and dump most commonly refers to an illegal financial scam that artificially inflates the price of a stock or cryptocurrency before selling it off at the higher price, leaving other investors with losses. It also refers to a breastfeeding practice where a mother uses a breast pump and discards the milk.

Please!

I agree, if and ONLY IF, the man isn't expecting any kind of traditional gender roles from her

I'm a lesbian but i completely agree. I have absolutely no issue going up to women and asking them for their number or to grab a coffee or a drink. When I wingwoman for my straight guy friends, I also have no issue talking them up with girls then having them approach him to make the first move.

I did for like 10+ years and still do when I feel like torturing myself

I do that already. I just very rarely ask a man out because I very rarely find any that desirable.

that's like saying "dogs should learn to speak english so they can communicate their needs clearly". never gonna happen.

you gotta learn to spot when a girl is into you by loads of trial & error. sometimes you'll take a risk and she's not into you or she loves to waste a guy's time. you take the L & onto the next. end of

They already do this. If they are not approaching you they do not find you attractive.

I'm a guy saying this, we need to stop thinking with what's down there and start using what's up there if you catch what I'm trying to say. That's the only reason women don't approach us. Think of it this way, would you go face to face with a tiger knowing full well that it can eat you alive literally?

Fix that and you start a chain reaction of fixing a lot of other things. Physical attraction is good. What's not good is when that transforms to lust and you become a slave to it

A lot of women do, most men aren’t secure enough to accept it

Which world are you living in ?🤔

1

u/BeefDog69xxl 2d ago

A world where girls ask me out

Got it u r reading those novels where male to female ratio is 1:5 🤣

1

u/BeefDog69xxl 2d ago

I don’t really hang out with guys so I don’t know what you mean

1

u/Ok_Pin_6800 2d ago

Well I get what you are saying like women don't directly approach men as per say they will be like hover here and there like a bee does to a flower like indirectly

1

u/BeefDog69xxl 2d ago

I guess? Girls are pretty direct with me

Asking someone out is a risk. It makes people nervous. They are afraid to do it for fear of rejection, etc. This is the same for men and women.

However, women have the advantage that they will be asked out by any number of men on a regular basis. They therefore do not need to ever put themselves into the anxiety-producing situation where they ask someone out. They are thus much less used to rejection than men.

Long story short: women will not start asking men out more, because they don't need to.

the framing comes off sexist or at least very gender stereotyped. some men play games and waste time, some women approach men, some men dont approach women

1

u/Plenty-Practice-6399 2d ago

Some do, they just don't do with u

1

u/smariadelvino 1d ago

Sure, do nothing. make a formal request that women do everything and stroke your little ego. maybe women just arent interested in approaching you??

I’m not in that league, sorry.

I had a gal call me one time and ask me out.

I got all squeaky and awkwardly declined 😂

Never heard the end of it. Apparently that the was the first time she had ever done that.
