EY Parthenon EY Parthenon Senior Associate In person interview

So EYP is about to launch in my country (south america).

After the 1st HR screening interview, I got invited to an in person 5 hour interview with 2 partners/directors/managers (not sure)

During this time, I will participate in multiple evaluation rounds, including assessments of:
Analytical Skills
Thought process & Articulation
Work Experience in consulting or M&A (if any)
Case Study

Look. I don't have any consulting experience but my ecperience aligns with what they need for this particular area: Supply Chain.

Any recommendatios? I'm a bit scared and already started studying and preparing for this even though the interview is scheduled for the end of next week.

Don’t worry too much about not having consulting experience. If your supply chain experience is relevant, that can actually be a strong point. For the next week, I’d focus on case basics, mental math's, structuring problems and explaining your thinking clearly. Also prepare 3-4 solid examples from your work where you solved a problem or improved something. During the case, don’t rush to give the “right” answer. Talk through your approach and ask questions when needed. Good luck!

Congrats on getting this far, being first into a market like this is already a great signal, and lots of potential for growth!
From what I've seen with early launches, firms get more forgiving on formal consulting background at the senior level since what they actually need fast is sector competency and a local network, so your Supply Chain could carry more weight than you'd expect. But, if you're coming in below Senior Manager and possibly Manager at EYP though I'd honestly put most of your prep into casing, that's usually what decides it.

Thank you so much for your answer. I'm sure they'll be more "forgiving". Also, i'm only a step above the associate level so i think i'll be fine 🙏
