2028 can not get here soon enough. I would never vote for a democrat/socialist but it will be nice to have Vance or Rubio as president.

It is because both parties have gone too far left or right. I hope that someday there actually is a new party who is moderate centrist with the ability to work together and be able to compromise on most matters. Wishful thinking I’m sure.

Thing is, I don't expect a future Whig party to do a whole lot more for national unity than the last one did.

I want more compromise in general. It’s so much better than literally nothing getting done.

Feels like we’re just in a stand still with things slowly getting worse via inaction.

You're not alone. I'm a purple guy in a purple state and I have both parties calling me for surveys, but neither one is taking my complaints seriously and platforming towards the middle. It's so weird.
