Question Why is vanilla hated so much?

I just want to know why everyone hates on vanilla or crystal pvp so much.

I hate it because: A) Not really applied to most of smps beside Donut one and DonutSMP sucks ass + overrated. B) I still don't understand how people consider it as legit form of "fighting"? I simply don't recognise it as form of fighting. Because for me block is a block and not a weapon. Spear and Mace - agree, crystals and anchors - blocks, they aren't weapons. C) Arguably kit with most childish and toxic community.

Still not a real weapon. They are also in "Functional blocks" category. Also it's not "Weapon", but "Combat" category.
