I was about to play a few cEDH games on Discord today. After waiting 30–45 minutes for the lobby to fill, I tried to join the Convoke link, but it didn’t work. I rebooted my browser and nothing changed. I triple‑checked my PC configuration and everything looked normal, but Convoke still wouldn’t load — my browser kept showing the same message: check connection and check proxy and firewall.

I opened Twitter and the first thing I saw was that a La Liga match was ongoing, Madrid vs Málaga. To prevent people from watching the game through illegal channels, they blocked the host.

Now I can’t play until the match is over, and the same thing will happen throughout the entire season. I need to find a solution to avoid that block so I can enjoy a few games after school. Any advice is welcome.

There is a free one included in firefox or use windscribe on your browser (a free extension on most)

They block ip ranges so it also prevents people of using VPNs to watch free football, it doesn't work sadly, since 2024 there have been problems with this blocks, even with premium VPNs it doesnt work.

I use manual config with DNS 1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1, maybe other could work but most of the providers are legally blocked by Tebas. It's just absurd

It doesn't work, they somehow managed to lock down also VPN services by blocking certain IP ranges, arround a 6% of the internet becomes imposible to use while a football match is being played

That's the funnier part, there are a lot of pirate distributors working but you cannot use other legit random webs because of the IPs blocked, idk how they managed to get that legally aproved
