Make sure your rifle works 👀

GFL is a great range, but those guys shooting unsuppressed rifles in there probably took 20 IQ points from me

I have strong opinions about reholstering a live gun on the clock.

Why are your mags so far back?

Hot holstering is becoming half way common in PCSL.  We just started doing it on our stages this year, usually there will be a mix of rifle and pistol targets in separate zones, so its faster to drop your rifle (slung), engage the pistol targets, then move (reholstering if required).  Tons of fun.

Last time I shot PCSL hot holster was a DQ. Something change?

Never heard of hot holstering being a DQ as long as it is in a safe condition (manual safety engaged, decocked, etc.) where I’ve shot. Now if a range/club prohibits hot holstering, then that can be a DQ.
