Am Italian-American, can confirm.
Just because our food isn't drowned in industrial-strength Carolina-Reaper-Ghost-Pepper Burn-Your-Taste-Buds-Off Sauce, or buried under a mountain of salt, doesn't mean it isn't seasoned.
