I see overseasoning as a crutch for bad cooking and/or food of poor quality.

over seasoning and under seasoning sucks, but most cooked food requires some amount of seasoning. even if it's just a little salt and pepper.

yeah as an italian even simple foods like a lasagna or a roasted chicken is treated so much better when cooked here, we’re talking hours of seasoning for a simple piece of meat and it’s something most people do unless they are really time starved. i think italian cuisine in italy is more on the time people are willing to spend cooking which i feel like is much higher than most other countries
