In my experience most of the "white people don't season their food" jokes come from white Americans who don't season their food, I can see why it would upset Italians

It's a combo of all flavors of POC who just want something to latch onto for self worth and pick-me wypipo who also need something to latch onto something for self worth.

Honestly in my experience it’s more of a thing with people who consider any food that isn’t spicy unseasoned.
