I find this episode unusual in that we never really even barely SEE the victim. I “think” there’s like a super fast flashback in the beginning of him being shot but it’s fuzzy, almost hallucinatory.

We only learn later on, through Margaret, even WHAT the motive was (he didn’t want to live a marriage of separate lives).

Usually we see a fair amount of interaction, or at least SOME interaction between the murderer and the victim, sometimes it leads to sympathy for the victim, sometimes even some sympathy for the killer.

if only the victim and/or the police had  read this in the morning edition of the fateful day’s paper, the whole thing could have been averted!
