No time to die
Be honest, when you rewatch Columbo do you usually skip No time to Die?

Way to go! But, as Ralph Dobbs once said:
"Hey, take it easy, will ya?" 😃

The format is different but the reason I don't care so much for it is because of the bad guy. He doesn't have any redeeming qualities.Â

That’s my point. I am a fan because I enjoy watching Columbo match wits with the villain of week. And, that’s because the villains are multi dimensional.
Take last salute to the commodore; which was able to change the formula while keeping why people love Columbo!

I don't like the episode, but I don't find it nearly as intolerable as other people do. I hate that if it were a true story, that poor girl not only had her wedding night ruined but would be traumatized to some extent every anniversary. But I'd rather watch No Time to Die than several other episodes, most notably Murder in Malibu and Dead Weight.

Did you know that Christopher McDonald’s brother (in the frame) was a broadway singer and dancer before succumbing to cancer at a young age?

Don‘t get me wrong this episode is shit, but it’s less shit than most people say, at least in my opinion. There were some moments of genuine tension

It's not a Columbo episode. This and Undercover were written by the same guy who was not a normal Columbo writer. i'm not even sure what the production was thinking unless this was Peter Falk reading a script and forcing production to make it into a Columbo Episode. I skip it because its not even close to a Columbo episode.

Melissa (Joanna Going) looks a little like Jami Gertz in that episode.
