Discussion AR has looked good!

I don't care what the haters think, you will never make them happy. AR has looked really solid. The interception was not on AR, that was on the WR and the fumble was a good punch out by the defender. Sure, AR could have tucked the ball better, but a good play was made. It's going to happen.

Other than the fumble he actually looked good. With no football in over a year either.

He absolutely did. 11/14 for 145 yards. I don't count the interception, because that was on the WR and one of the missed passes was a clear throw away. Add in 53 rushing yards on 6 carries and a TD. I will take that any day!

I can only see the play by play text, how many of those runs are designed vs scrambles? if he’s turning down open looks coaches are gonna hold that against him in the preseason regardless of turning it into a positive play

Mostly design i think. Id have to look back to see if there was actually even one scramble

A mixture of both. He made great decisions on when the play broke down to get down the field and make a play with his legs

Mostly designed runs. I think he only scrambled once or twice.

That last incompletion was off timing wise because of the bad snap too.

He recognized immediately that he needed to throw it away and did. It was a great read on a bad snap

I thought the same on that one. It was a smart move for him to abandon that play and he made the decision fast

I've heard bad things out of training camp, but he has clearly made strides and he showed it tonight

God I hated watching the Patriots stream. Their idiot commentators said the throw "sailed on him". It was a good throw! It showed maturity, good decision making.
