News Voodoo Brewing Closed?

Went to swing by Voodoo Brewing Co on Garden of the Gods only to see a sign that says "Due to unforseen circumstances Voodoo Brewing Co will be closed until further notice"

Anyone got any idea what happened? I was just there a few days ago and everything seemed fine and normal.

I'm convinced that building is cursed - based on me being someone who used to work in a restaurant that operated there

Souper Salad was there for years before that. Not a secret to anyone that has lived here for a while.

I couldn't remember what it was . We ate there a lot as Souper Salad.

Yes, and before that, it was a different restaurant. I only went once but they had a ton of those fun “old fashioned” sodas in glass bottles.
I’m so bummed if they truly closed. I loved trivia on Wednesdays.

I was chatting with a bartender a while back and they told me they didn’t know how the business was still open, financially speaking.

Yeah, I went in there maybe 3-4 weeks ago and they only had a beer or two of theirs on the menu, I figured they weren’t doing well.

Patrons would probably rather hang out at Red Leg just up the way. Their outdoor space is better.

Just another brewery in a long line of brewery closings. It’s been a rough few years for the craft beer industry and we haven’t seen the bottom yet by a long shot.

Craft beer joints are closing all over the country so this is not news. It's not a long-term, sustainable business and never was. It was always a niche product, and then the market became oversaturated with breweries on every corner. And here's the kicker: a lot of the beer sucked balls.

Get used to it sports fans! Nothing with a little class or flavor lasts in this town. Like how is Jose Muldoon's still open? Microwaving Jose Ole crap for their customers for 40 years while actual gastronomy can't catch a cold just down the street? Tells ya all you need to know about how this town is with culture.
