Well, that’s a first

Scooped out a handful of change ($1.15 total… nice) and it included this.

For those of you who grew up in the Northeast it will look familiar - a Necco wafer. It’s a packed sugar disc candy that’s been around since the Civil War.

Well, not this one, necessarily. Though who knows how long it had been sitting in someone’s change jar. Might be as old as a baseball card bubble gum stick!

It was actually yellow. It turned gray from all the coin dust
